Elys and Aleksander were dumbstruck for a second. Queen Euphemia was gloating at them. Her smile was something the royal couple of the West didn't think she could even don – her smile was way beyond how they thought of her back then.
"The leaves, you say?" Aleksander said.
Queen Euphemia and Sir Noa nodded in unison. A tiny giggle escaped the young queen's lips and Elys' brows arched up in response.
"Sir Noa, would you like to do the honor of explaining to them how they got here in the first place?" the Eastern Queen asked her trusted adviser.
"With pleasure, your majesty," Sir Noa said with a bow.
Once he turned to Elys and Aleksander, the magicless human squared his shoulders and straightened his posture.
He tipped his head only a bit – it wasn't even that noticeable in the first place – and then proceeded to explain to the Western couple whom they have successfully captured.
