2.Weakling

Roru Chikara P.O.V

I could feel it, The murderous killing intent and a bloodlust mixed with rage, Who is this opponent of mine? I could feel the opponent getting closer with every passing second, I had to focus on the situation and prevent my curiosity from making me fail. I regained my composure and calmed myself down using the breathing techniques my grandfather taught me back in Italy, these techniques were said to calm a person down under any circumstances, They worked!, just as grandfather said they would, Whatever threat I was about to face, I was surely ready for it, I was confident that the teachings grandfather gave me would be enough to pass this "test" that I heard no mention of, But suddenly the murderous killing intent I was feeling just vanished and I could no longer sense the enemy. I closed my eyes and put myself in a state of deep concentration in order to find the enemy, Whilst I had my eyes closed, I failed to pinpoint the enemy, but I felt a large object approaching me from behind, I turned around and faced the direction that the object was coming from, and in the blink of an eye I caught the spear that was aiming to pierce my left pectoral muscle just below my deltoid with my right hand. After catching the spear I could see that bits of my skin was peeled off due to the force of stopping the spear with my hand, "I should've used two" I said outloud, dissapointed that I, A member of the Chikara family got damaged by a mere spear Grandfather would really be ashamed. I then proceeded to break the spearhead so that it couldn't be used against me again, Grandfather always said that a member of the Chikara family should never use weapons, The only weapon a member of our family needs is his body, when I asked grandfather why this is he simply answered "Because we are the most physically gifted", Which in turn made us prideful.

"Show yourself", I yelled out whilst trying to find my opponent. Just when I thought that my opponent had fled the battle, I felt rumbles on the ground, "what is this?", I thought to myself with the hairs on my arms rising, I could tell danger lied in the not so distant future, Whilst I was trying to compose myself again I saw something charge right at me, With the way this creature made the ground tremble I suspect that it would be a certain type of animal that belongs in the society of the higher beings, but I was wrong, It was actually a humanoid figure charging straight at me, Since this figure is in the Society of the higher beings, I hypothesized that it could not be a human, That would be too easy for me, By that logic it had to be a higher being such as myself.

My opponent was approaching me at a fast pace and by the looks of it, they were not going to go easy on me.

My opponent closed the distance and reached a point where they were able to throw a fist at me, I used my left hand to block my opponents attack by catching their punch. "Not bad" I said with a wide smirk on my face, impressed by the amount of force that my opponent was able to produce, Whilst I had my opponents fist in my hand I had a chance to to look at my opponent and see his facial features, But as soon as I looked clearly I could tell that my opponent was in fact a female with silver hair, a somewhat round face and green eyes. "You're are a girl?" I said in shock whilst holding her fist tightly. Seeing that she could not release my hold on her by simply pulling her hand away, the female decided to throw a kick aimed right at the side of my face, In order to dodge I had to let go of her.

Even though I haven't attacked her yet, I could tell that I was stronger and by the looks of it, she knew it too. This is going to be a piece of cake for me, As my mind was filled with thoughts of victory, I attacked my opponent with a roundhouse kick aimed at her left abdomen with my right leg, the girl blocked my attacked by lifting up her knee to meet my leg, By the looks of it, I had underestimated this girl, she was not as weak as I thought she was and by the way she blocked my attack I could tell that she was skilled in fighting because she didn't just lift her knee, she also tilted her leg a slight 45 degrees to the left so that her body was not flipped to the side by the force of my kick.

"You're a smart one" I said with a grin on my face, I was excited, Afterall this would be the first time I could fight someone without holding back, I knew I was stronger than her, so there was only one thought that crossed my mind at the time, I felt my victory was all but assured so I said it, With a grin on my face while looking into her bright green eyes I said it, I said "I will break you".

I then proceeded to throw a barrage of fists at her, She blocked everyone of them fairly easily, but that only made me more excited, I then grabbed her left hand with mine, pulled her closer to me and hit her with an open palm strike right on the chest, the force of my attack launched her straight into a tree, I could swear I heard a bone crack, "Hey! I won, where do I go now" I shouted at the top of my lungs whilst looking at one of the cameras stationed around the forest, "Hey imbecile" I heard a male voice call out to me, but I couldn't tell where it was coming from. "You haven't killed your opponent yet, so you haven't won", " Wait, I really have to kill her?", I responded to the voice I heard with a surprised expression on my face, But my attempt to establish communication had failed, because I didn't receive a response in turn. I have never killed a person before, But if that is what I need to do in order to pass this so called test I'm assuming it will all be handled by someone and I won't end up on trial or in a situation that would make me regret doing it.

I looked at the tree, where my opponent was propelled to, " What in the world?", The words just slipped out of my mouth, because I was honestly shocked, Why?, Well that was because the body wasn't there.

"Roru Chikara" I heard a voice again, but this time it was not the male voice I heard before, It wasn't even a male this time, I turned around to face the source of the voice, and just as expected it was her, the girl I had propelled to the tree was now standing in front of me with a look that said "I am stronger than you", and just how do I know what that look means?, That's because it was the same look of confidence that I had on my face when I realized I was stronger than her, but why is she so confident, I mean who in the world would smile like that after being hit by me ?, and into a tree no less. The only reason I could think of as to why this girl is unfazed by my strength is...No, it can't be, was she holding back all along?, " Who the hell are you?, I asked her in an irritated tone, she replied by saying, "Chikara scum, I am your demise", After exchanging sharp glares at each other, We then proceeded to slowly approach one another in a steady pace.

"Are you ready child?" The girl asked me. "I was born ready" I replied whilst sizing her up as we were approaching closer and closer to each other. When we were both in arms length from each other, we stopped. "Why didn't you say anything before?" I asked whilst looking down at my opponent, "That is simply because you were weak, and I do not speak to weaklings.", "Does that mean that I'm no longer a weakling in your eyes?", I expected a response but the girl didn't respond this time, She started attacking me with her own barrage at first her punches were slow and I could easily see and block her attacks, but as she kept attacking me, I noticed her punches were getting faster and I would have trouble keeping up at this rate, I chose to stop being on the defensive and fight back or else I would regret it. I held two of her hands whilst she was attacking, jumped up and struck her on the chin with my left knee, the attack landed but it did not have the effect I hoped it would have, because my opponent seemed to not be affected at all by my hit as she did not seem to have experienced pain at all. "Let go of my hands and I will give you the chance to land another hit on me, freely and with your full force", At first I thought she was lying in order to be free, but when I looked into her eyes I could tell that she was being honest, so I believed her and let her go. I didn't think she would actually do it, but she's actually willing to let me attack her, I had to land a blow that will kill her, I put all my strength into this attack or I will lose the test , I made some distance between and started running towards her with my right fist closed and ready whilst my left hand was open. When I closed the distance, I used my grandfathers technique and punched my opponent right in the chest with all my might. My opponent did not move at all, not only that but my hand was broken and I felt pain that I never felt before in my life. "Not even the faintest of Zeal in your attack, Now young Chikara, your time is up". The girl then proceeded to slap me in the face, although the force she attacked with was small, the amount of pain I felt surpassed the one I felt before by tenfold. While I was trying to recover my senses she tripped me and I fell to the ground, She then proceeded to place her knee on my chest and started throwing punches at my face, I had no strength left to continue the fight and I was getting beat down by her, like a new born infant.

"You asked me if I recognized your strength when I talked to you earlier, My answer is no, I still view you in that light, I was merely following orders" is what I was told by my opponent as she held me by the neck with her right hand and threw me towards the same tree I had propelled her to earlier in the battle, during these events there was only one thought on my mind and that was that I was going to die if she lands an attack on me, giving me no time to process my pain she quickly ran towards with her fist aimed at my face, But before I was dealt the final blow she said something to me, she said a sentence that I never imagined I would said to me in this lifetime, it was as if she wanted me to carry that sentence to the afterlife.

Seconds before her fist connected with my face she said " You have lost, you weakling".
