The Arcadia System

"Mikkel Mor? It doesn't ring a bell." Reve spat out.

Was the name supposed to mean something?

"That is a surprise. Surely, a unique identity like you would possess an excellent memory." The man named Mikkel placed his hands all around Reve's body.

Reve shouted, "Hey, would you stop that?"

"I can't. I'm curious about you, about the power hidden in your blood. What limits does it have?" The man's face came into view.

He stared deeply into Reve's eyes. Reve could see a sea of black blood in his eyes. He could see himself drowning in it… dying in it.

Mikkel fondled Reve's face for a while, before making a pensive expression.

"This is not your true form, is it? Reveal yourself."

"Oh please, I'm not ignorant. You are not my first lab rat. Now, stop hiding yourself from me. It would be better if you simply listen to me. I promise I don't mean any harm."
