Chapter 22: Motivated

After class, Suzuki was the last one out the door. Perhaps he was nervous not to face anyone, but that has been a habit of his for a long.

"Have a wonderful day, Suzuki." Tora waved enthusiastically.

"Ugh," Suzuki murmured in agony. "Y-You too." He replied as he stepped out of the door.

"Ruined my whole day," Suzuki complained about professor Tora. "Professor thickhead always has something up his sleeve." He clenched his fists.

"I can't deal with him." His foot bumped into a wheelchair. Looking down, he found a petite and beautiful brunette staring at him.

"Huh? Why is she looking at me like that?" He asked inwardly as his expression changed. "But she sure is cute." He drew his arms out of his pockets.

"I'm s-so sorry." He immediately apologized for his mistake. "A-Are you okay?" He asked while blushing.

"Eh, I'm fine." She said, strolling away.

She left him awkwardly, reaching his arms out and bending his long legs.

"Embarrassing!" He shouted inwardly, speed walking away.

"Her voice." He placed his hand on his chin on the streets of Tokyo, heading to his usual destination. "She sounded so familiar."

Suzuki crossed the road over to the sidewalk. "Well, whatever." He let go of his side bag and placed his hands over his head. "StarCafe." He read out loud and walked in.

"Welcome in." Announced the usual cashier. "A dark roast?" She asked him while cleaning the surface of her register.

"Sh-She won't let me speak!" He aggressively shouted inside of his mind. "Let me order, damn it." He inwardly complained with an annoyed expression.

Yet, his physical actions didn't follow the setup scenarios in his mind. "Y-Yes, please." He replied as disappointment took over him.

"Awesome, that'll be 568 yen, Suzuki-san." She said with a smile.

Pulling out his wallet, a dark cloud of disappointment surrounded him. "Here you go, thanks." He spoke in a low tone.

Walking away from the cashier and over to his usual spot, he awkwardly celebrated his failure. "Yay, creamer section awaits." He threw his fists up in the air.

He pulled out his phone, took a seat, and slowly went to the stocks market app. "Numbers are sinking again." He told himself in utter disappointment.

"The tactics aren't working." He strolled down. "Oh, this establishment looks promising." His eyes widened, finally coming across a new company that had formed stocks.

"Suzuki-San!" Screamed the usual barista as she placed his hot drink on the counter.

"Hmm," He replied as he got up and walked over. Grabbing his drink, he looked over to the creamer sections that reminded him of his failure. "Nice," he said as he mixed a mountain of creamers and sugar. "Much better!" He took a second sip.

Walking to his bag, he placed his drink on the counter and pulled out his phone. "Hmm, very nice. This firm is skyrocketing."

He smiled. Then, in a rush to buy their stocks, he made sure that he entered the right amount and submitted it.

"A hundred thousand yen should do." He said as he placed his phone away and stood up, grabbing his drink.

"Let's go home." He reminded himself of the motivation he received today. "Uhh, I want to kill Tora, but the comments were also nice." He inwardly spoke, displaying a soft manic smile.

"Hmm, yes, time to go do some coding!" He said out loud. He rushed to grab his things and walked out of the door, taken back by the embarrassment. "Why did I shout that shit?" He asked himself with a startled expression.

"I'm home." He announced as he walked in. turning on the lights, he placed his empty cup on his short-legged table and walked over to his computer.

Turning it on, he dropped down into his seat. He expressed his exhaustion. "I'm beaten." He huffed out a cloud of air.

When the computer finished booting up, he moved his cursor to the code app. " Learning Code Applications." He read out loud the name of the app.

"Never fails to teach me something new." His face drew closer to the screen.
