Teen labor force

"Cleaning my room gives me the satisfaction, after all, my mom told me to do it! "

I feel like my mom enjoys employing me as her free teen labor force. Come to think of it, I was working hard at home, and she is outside having fun with her cooking and baking buddies. Now I understand how it feels to be an orphan, just for a few hours of course until my parents came back home soon.

Oh yes! laundry is hard work. Can you imagine using my hand to wash my parents and my clothes? Thanks to Jacob Christian Schaffer for inventing the washing machine, otherwise I had to experience the pain of rubbing a garment in my hands. Still, it's manual labor to separate the white, the light, and the dark colors. How I wish the washing machine can do that too. It will be convenient for me and the rest of the people who hate this boring task. I load the white garments first as per my mother's instructions. As you can see, I am a good disciple to remember this. The new detergent that my mom bought has a fabric conditioner in it. I am confused about where to put the detergent? In the detergent tub or the conditioner tub? This old washing machine does not say so. Finally, I just place it in the detergent tub after all it says it is the box, detergent with a falcon. And set it to wash the white. Now all I had to do is wait.

While waiting, I decided to take the easy route for lunch. Yes, eat leftovers. I went to the kitchen and take out frozen meatballs in garlic and cream sauce from the freezer. Leave it outside to thaw naturally and later heat it.

Then I went to my room and grab my laptop. I plan to watch my favorite show Rick and Morty while waiting for the laundry to finish. When Crinkles, my cat make a sound meow meow meow aggressively. As though trying to tell me something. Oh, my world! I forget to feed her. I called her to follow me in the kitchen and take a can of Whiskas from the cabinet and pour it into her feeding bowl. My poor cat looks at me with grievances and eats it. Maybe it was saying to me, you indolent owner! do you still remember you have a pet? are you going to starve me to death? maybe I should run away to remind you!

At last, I'm done with my house chores assigned to me by my slave driver mom. Please don't tell her I am talking to myself like this, she is gonna kill me! Heat the leftover lunch and ate in the kitchen. I check the fridge for dessert and I saw Tiramisu and painfully ignore it. They are for Marjorie and our dinner tonight. I settled with the chocolate mint ice cream and added it to a banana that I split in half. Now I have banana split ice cream. Yummy! Chocolate always tastes so delicious added to almost anything.

I feel sleepy after eating my lunch. Maybe I am too tired from housework or I ate so much. Went to my room to take an afternoon siesta. Then I saw my droopy cat in my bed cozily sleeping as though it's her own. I pick her up to transfer her to the cot. She purrs vexedly resisting and scold her, this is my bed next time if you don't want me to disturb you dreaming you better sleep in there.
