Ocean Park, The artificial deep blue sea

"When you live near to the white sand beach do you still need to go on vacation?"

Of course yes, you still need to explore other places but if your budget is not enough then local vacation will do.

Our family vacation slash aunt's funeral is almost over. We spend it splurging with shopping then we went to the ocean park and bought tickets for a giant oceanarium, water and light display in the night and dinner buffet.

The amazing thing about the oceanarium is seeing all the beautiful and ugly creatures in the deep sea. Walking in the notches where you can see above your head, hundreds of different species of fish. A giant Aquarium within your sight. After the steps of over the head aquarium, there are a mini collection of different ocean animals like jellyfish, sea horses, a brown branch-like-looking thing that looks ugly but it is a living thriving creature that lives deep in the ocean that I forget the complicated name. Don't blame me for not remembering the name, blame the scientist who gave an arduous name to that entity. Such a sophisticated name that my teenage brain can't seem to remember. I know I am making an excuse for my poor memory but how the heck I will remember all the complex s names of hundreds of different species in the oceanarium.

Then we went to see the big aquarium for the sharks. It's remarkable to see how peaceful and seem harmless these feared animals of the sea, swimming in front of me. This is the first time I saw a living shark. I even touch the glass imagining that I am inside the aquarium and swimming in tune with the sharks. My imagination about sharks is not morbid. I just enjoy the serene beauty of the deep blue ocean.

Then we continue the strides until we reach the area where you can have a close-up look of turtles, starfish, and other weird-looking fish without the glass barrier. There is a big warning sign that says please don't touch the animals or place your hand near the display.

After the oceanarium walk, we have free time before the light and water display. My mom got a crazy idea to inquire how the room inside the hotel in the ocean park looks like. So we went to the reception and inquire. We're lucky that it's offseason so the receptionist is very accomodating. The room standard room costs 200 dollars a night. My mom is thick skin and asks if she can see the room and the receptionist gladly accommodate her request. The concierge gladly shows us the room with an aquarium inside. The room has only one queen size bed, looks clean and comfortable. My mom said this is a nice room maybe in our next vacation we can stay here. Me and my dad nod in agreement. Then she thanked the concierge and Dad give him a tip. Then we walk out of the hotel and went to the light and water show. My mom blurted out that was an expensive room it is double for what we pay in our current hotel. I told mom because you're paying for 100 dollar aquarium wall inside the room. Then my mom and dad smile at me nod in agreement.

Then the show has a long line and we fall in line like other normal people patiently. The people who watch the gate check our tickets then told us to take our sits according to what is written on our ticket.

Once Seven pm started. The gate was close at the announcer with a happy voice gladly introduce us to the storyline of the show. We were entertained by the beautiful display of the sea animals in light and water shows while we hear the narrator's voice talking about the characters in the show. At the end of the tale, we were stunned we the additional effects of the fireworks. How wonderful to see in the sky the effects of lights, waters, and fireworks. Worth seeing this attraction for half an hour.

The line going out is again very long to avoid joining the throng of people we sit for a while until the crowd thin out. Then we went to our great destination for our gastronomic gratification in the hotel buffet. For a foodie like our family. The food buffet is the best ending of our tour.
