Di Mingzhe, provoked in such a manner, caused Dan Lingling to become agitated again, her face flushing red as she quickly said to Di Mingzhe, "I met Bo Chengxin a few years ago, and after exchanging a simple greeting and small talk, she called me a crazy woman."
That fully challenged Dan Lingling's face-saving pride, which soared once again.
"You were the first to insult me," Bo Chengxin eventually regained a bit of reason and said with a trembling voice.
Dan Lingling defiantly raised an eyebrow, "What did I say to insult you? When I spoke to you, you ignored me, so I asked if you had eaten gunpowder, and then you called me a crazy woman."
"But you were the one who hit me first," Bo Chengxin countered, her face already frighteningly pale. Even though she knew she had possibly provoked someone she shouldn't have, she couldn't help defending herself.
"Why did you insult me then?" Dan Lingling retorted, "You started by insulting me, so of course I had to hit you."
