The King was startled at Princess Cassandra's words.

It was as if the King had a guilty conscience as he hurriedly shook his head and started giving explanations. "What plan will we have? Of course not. All we care about is you. Not because you have unique powers but because of your mother."

"My mother." Princess Cassandra gave a soft wink to Aiden who was still on his knees as she looked at the King with a shocked expression.

"So you know my mother." Princess Cassandra's eyes shook as she got up in excitement. Her hands were on the table as she leaned in with tearful eyes. "Tell me who she was. Prince Carl had told me that he would help me find things about my mother but now .."
