CASSANDRA: The Unfavored Princess

Princess Cassandra looked at the man.

Lord Bentham did not respond the way Cassandra was hoping he might. It was a clear indication that Lord Bentham could not hear her thoughts.

'So Lord Bentham does not have this power.'

'But he surely knows someone who had it. If my mother really had such powers then why did the Vivere Kingdom's Royal family know about it?'

'Did Lord Bentham or did the Grand Duke say something to the royals?'

Princess Cassandra was betting on this possibility. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at Lord Bentham. Duke Salvador's words struck her. 'You cannot know until you ask.'

Princess Cassandra took a deep breath as she closed her eyes. Her thoughts concentrated towards Lord Bentham as she opened her eyes once she felt connected.

[You know my mother taught you. You knew her right?]
