The Hunt Begins
After silently confirming that the trio could not see him at all even when he stood by the doorway of the bathroom, Pro breathed a sigh of relief and began to study them. Pro glanced at the complaining middle-aged man called Boss Ma and the coquettish beauty that clung on to him. Pro couldn't help but grit his teeth in jealousy. After all, he did die a virgin. If he could, he wanted to be evil for once and teach this young lady that there are better man in the world. Alas, he's a ghost now. Even if he can have physical contact, it is less than a minute and he might not even be able to satisfy his little brother at that time.
Even if he could, he would not do so now as there is one target that he must take care of. Pro set his sight on the familiar man that pitted himself. It was the contractor that rented this apartment to him. Unlike the first time they met where the contractor presented the room with confidence, the contractor now had a pale, nervous face. Pro didn't think too much about it for now as he thought it may just be a guilty conscience. It was unknown if it was because he became a resentful ghost or if there were other factors, but right now, Pro's only thought was revenge.
Pro's thought spun as he considered the pros and cons of his following plan. He then glanced at the other two innocent ones of the trio. Although, that Boss Ma is probably not any good thing and the lady is probably a sl*t, Pro decided to give them a chance to live if they help him. Of course, it is with a little interest. Pro selected Boss Ma as a target and activated
"Aiya! Just look at this old room, it will cost a lot to renovate it, reduce money! And look at these furniture with stains on it, it will cost money to throw it away, reduce money!" Boss Ma hollered with a nit picky attitude.
The contractor silently sighed as he already got used to this on the other floors, "If Boss Ma is satisfied, the price can be discussed. We can move on to the next room or the next floor-"
"Ha! Don't think you can distract me from the truth, I know there is a problem with this room somewhere, one that is more serious than the rest. With my hawk eyes, I will be able to find it sooner or later, humph!" Boss Ma stated grumpily because he couldn't find a good reason to reduce the price by a large amount.
Boss Ma began to move into the bedroom and checked it, but there wasn't really any problem. He frowned and muttered unhappily before moving to the bathroom. Xiao Cui who was clinging onto the boss suddenly felt a chill and couldn't help but tighten her grip.
"Huh? Xiao Cui? What's wrong?" Boss Ma asked gently with a furrow on his brow.
"Ah? N-Nothing, just that it feels a bit cold in here. Maybe we should go, there is no need to inspect the dirty bathroom as it would only dirty yourself otherwise," Xiao Cui responded as the contractor nodded frantically in agreement.
"Hmm ... I guess I can make an exception since my precious Xiao Cui said so," Boss Ma began but he suddenly stiffened.
Noticing the strangeness of Boss Ma, Xiao Cui asked worriedly, "Boss Ma? Is there something wrong?"
Boss Ma's mouth twitched as he cleared his throat, "Ahem. N-Nothing much, I just thought that even if it's the bathroom, I shouldn't let it go because it might have a problem! Let me go in and inspect it on my own."
Boss Ma then gently shoved off the confused Xiao Cui from his arms and walked into the bathroom alone under the confused gaze of the contractor.
"It'll be a real quick inspection. Don't worry. It's kind of small in here, so I will inspect this place alone. I will close the door to inspect it more thoroughly," Boss Ma awkwardly said before he slammed the door shut and locked it.
Xiao Cui stared at the closed door with her mouth opened in shock. The confused contractor also stiffened in place wondering what was going on. It wasn't long before the confusion was solved as the duo outside the door began to hear suppressed moans, not of pleasure, but as if someone was trying hard to release something out into the toilet. Xiao Cui humphed and walked away from the door in disgust while glaring at the contractor as if warning him. The contractor could only awkwardly smile.
Of course, this was the doing of Pro. After Boss Ma sat on the toilet, Pro began to activate his
Pro watched his life points slowly go up by 1 per second after the tenth second of using the ability and watched the face of Boss Ma becoming more pale as if he may drop dead if Pro decided to burn most of his yin energy on him. In order to avoid accidental death and to save some energy for his true target, Pro stopped the skill at the 20 second mark. After all, Pro didn't plan to kill this rich boss in the first place as the death of a rich person can really attract intense investigation.
Not long after Pro released the skill, Boss Ma cried in relief as the sound of something plummeting into water resounded. Boss Ma clamped his mouth shut realizing he was being too loud. He hurriedly reached for the toilet paper and finished his business. With the flush of a toilet, Boss Ma hurriedly opened the door and stepped out of the bathroom.
Boss Ma stared at the duo outside and coughed in embarrassment, "Ahem, it seems that the toilet is working fine according to my in-depth inspection. There should be no problem with the bathroom. We can move on to the next place."
"Haha ... of course, of course, let's move on. Please," The contractor laughed awkwardly in agreement before gesturing with his hand in a polite manner.
"Mm, come here Xiao Cui, let's go," Boss Ma commanded as he reached out his hands.
Xiao Cui came over and stared at Boss Ma's hands. She clearly remembered that she didn't hear the running water of hand washing in the bathroom. A clear sense of disgust arose inside of her but she gritted her teeth, put on her best smile, and grabbed the hand coquettishly, "Yes, Boss Ma, let's go."
The trio planned to leave the room, but how could Pro let them go so easily? Pro still hasn't hunted his true target yet. Pro fiercely stared at the contractor as a wild grin appeared on his face, "It's your turn."
Fortunately, as the contractor was about to step out of the door to the apartment, his lips twitched as one of his hands grasped his stomach awkwardly. He stopped in place and awkwardly said, "Wait a minute."
Boss Ma turned around and questioned him, "What's wrong?"
"Um ... it seems that I ate something wrong today. I just need to use the bathroom real quick," the contractor awkwardly stated.
"Humph! Do you really want to sell this building or not? I don't have all day to accompany you," Boss Ma berated with dissatisfaction, but as if remembering his previous situation, he awkwardly continued, "But if you must, I will grant you permission to do so. Of course, the price must be reduced a bit because my time is precious."
"Of course, of course! Then please wait a moment," the contractor laughed awkwardly while inwardly cursing, but he still accepted it and headed towards the bathroom of apartment 444.
The duo watched the contractor enter the bathroom and shut the door. Xiao Cui couldn't help but mutter, "Was there something wrong with the meal earlier? Perhaps you can reduce the price even more for the bad meal."
"Hahaha! That is not a bad idea! My Xiao Cui is so smart!" Boss Ma happily laughed.
"Of course, Xiao Cui learned from Boss Ma, how can she not be?" Xiao Cui coquettishly said as she stuck her body to Boss Ma and began to squirm around.
Boss Ma began to breathe heavily as his hands reached out to enjoy the lady, but after a while he held back his urge as he said in a hoarse voice, "Be obedient Xiao Cui, we are still doing business right now. After we are done, I will indulge you all night long tonight!"
Xiao Cui looked up at Boss Ma with watery eyes and whispered into his ears, "As Boss Ma wishes, Boss Ma can indulge Xiao Cui all he wants, even if Boss Ma wants to release it inside."
Boss Ma trembled as he chuckled with a lewd smile, but inwardly he was cursing, "Hah! Do you really think I will give you a child and let you become a phoenix?!"
The duo continued to flirt outside while ignoring the cries of pain from the bathroom, but as time passed they realized that something was wrong as the cries of pain has went silent at an unknown moment of time. They continued to wait in silence, but it has been more than 30 minutes and the contractor still hasn't come out.
Xiao Cui gripped Boss Ma tightly as she stared at the bathroom door, "Boss Ma, could something have happened?"
Boss Ma furrowed his brow and inwardly cursed as he comforted, "Don't worry Xiao Cui, I'm sure everything is fine. Let's go hurry him up. I don't have all day."
The duo walked to the door of the bathroom and Boss Ma raised his hands to knock on the door, "Are you done yet in there? I don't have all day-"
Surprisingly, the door was unlocked and it slowly swung open once Boss Ma knocked on it, causing the duo to step back in fright. After calming down, the duo glanced at each other and took a look into the bathroom.
"Ahhhhhh!"
The duo screamed in fright, tumbling back and falling to the ground.
"C-Call 911!"
