"Joseph! Delivery the pizza!" a gruff command came from the kitchen as a box of pizza was thrown onto the counter.
"O-On it, boss!" a tall, skinny white teen with brown hair answered as he grabbed the box of pizza.
"Make it quick, but don't get lost newbie!" a colleague on the cashier hollered as he watched Joseph bumble out of the store.
Joseph hopped into his old second hand H*nda compact car. Pulling out his smartphone, he searched up the address listed on the box to get a route. When he saw the destination, Joseph can only sigh, "Another far one, why do I keep getting the ones that are far. Not only that, the order is only a medium size pizza. The cost for gas may be more than the pay I get. Maybe it's due to my newbie status, but it's been a month. Seriously ..."
Still, Joseph knew he had to deliver the pizza or risk losing his job. He helplessly set the gear stick to reverse and pulled out of the parking spot. Not long after, he drove out of the parking lot and headed towards his destination.
Driving through the city road, Joseph hummed along to the music from the radio as he checked out the occasional girl that walked on the sidewalks. However, as Joseph drove closer and closer to his destination, he noticed the scenery becoming more dissipated as the people became sparser and sparser until they completely disappear.
Entering the street of the destination, Joseph felt he was entering a ghost town. It was the first time he learned that there was actually such an unpopulated place in the city. After all, the city is jammed pack and all open spaces are bought by developers as if they were sharks smelling blood. Yet, this lonely old street that needs development seemed to have escaped this cycle of development.
The car slowly came to a stop in front of an old apartment building. Joseph got out of the car with the pizza as he glanced up at the apartment building, "Is it here? The address said XXX apartment building ..."
He looked around and couldn't really see any signs, but it was the only apartment building on the street so it must be the right one. Glancing at the gloomy apartment, Joseph couldn't help but feel a chill on his spine even though it was daytime. Strolling into the building, Joseph couldn't help but muttering, "Who would live in a ghost place like this?"
Stepping into the elevator, Joseph selected the fourth floor and waited for the old elevator to slowly creak upwards. Ding! The elevator doors slid open to reveal a silent fourth floor. Although it was daytime, the only lighting on the floor was a from the old, dim lamps in the hallway ceiling, but instead of lightening the mood, the light seems to dim the mood even more as they occasionally flickered.
Joseph paused for a moment as he gripped the pizza box a bit tighter. He took a deep breathe as he stepped out of the elevator, "Don't scare yourself Joseph. Just deliver the pizza, and go. Even more simple than going to the toilet."
Strolling cautiously through the hallway, Joseph counted the numbers on the doorways and easily found apartment room 444. Seeing no doorbell, he walked up to it, raised his hands, and knocked on the door, "Pizza H*t! Your delivery is here!"
Then, Joseph waited in silence as he stared at the closed door. Suddenly, the lights above Joseph flickered rapidly, causing Joseph to jump in fright. As he calmed himself internally, he heard a click and the door in front of him slowly swung open.
Joseph gripped the pizza box tighter, intending to use it as a weapon if he sees something abnormal, but he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the young man in front of him. Although Joseph felt that it was weird that the young man wrapped his neck with a shirt, he was calmed by the fact that there was a human that doesn't look like a criminal.
"Ello! Pizza h*t right?" the young man asked with a smile.
"Yes sir, that's right. That would be $12.89," Joseph answered with a smile.
"Alright, hold on. Let me get the money," the young man replied with a smile as he walked into the kitchen and began to search the drawers.
Joseph patiently waited for the young man to search the drawers. It felt a bit weird that there didn't seem to be any sound, as if the drawer was empty, but Joseph just thought he was too far away to hear it.
Suddenly, Joseph felt his stomach rumble as he clutched it with one of his hands, "W-Why now?"
A drop of sweat rolled down Joseph's face as he glanced at the bathroom inside the apartment room. Joseph tried to hypnotize himself internally, "Just hold it in. You can do it when you go out. If I borrow the bathroom here, I might not get any tips ..."
Joseph tried to hold it in as he stared at the young man searching the drawers, but it felt as if the young man was searching slower and slower. Joseph's eyes couldn't help but flick towards the bathroom over and over again. In the end, he couldn't hold back his urge as he finally asked, "Sir? May I borrow the bathroom real quick?"
The young man glanced back at Joseph with a weird smile as he agreed, "Of course. I hope you enjoy it."
Joseph walked into the apartment room and placed the pizza on the counter. He then swiftly strolled into the bathroom and locked the doors. Glancing at the clean toilet with full toilet paper, Joseph happily sat down on it. Unknown to Joseph, an invisible ghost was peeking at him through the walls of the bathroom.
Pro gritted his teeth as he felt his weakened body, "I can't believe you held in your urges for so long, I almost had to give up and dissipate. Fortunately, you still failed to resist within the time limit. Now, I'll let you hold in your urges all you want!"
Pro then activated his ability
Pro knew that this store might not come back after this one delivery. After all, he 'disappeared' and didn't manage to pay. This would cut off his leek from this store, so Pro decided to harvest a bit more points from this guy. Although this may cause the innocent guy to have an accident while going back, that has nothing to do with Pro. As long as he doesn't die here, it shouldn't bring him too much extra attention.
After gaining 30 points and seeing that the pale faced delivery man's moans of pain were weakened, Pro stopped his ability, "I permit you to let it go, let it go, cause I know you can't hold it back anymore~"
"Ohhhhh~" Joseph moaned in happiness as something plummeted into the water below.
Tears rolled down his eyes as he exclaimed in euphoria, "Ohhhh yesss~ I-It finally came out!"
After taking a couple of deep, weak breathes and sighing in relief, Joseph reached out for the toilet paper. His face then paled because he didn't touch the expected soft paper, but a papery, solid surface. Glancing over, Joseph saw an empty toilet paper roll.
"WHAT?! Where is the toilet paper?! I swear there was toilet paper there when I came in!" Joseph howled in anger.
It was only then that Joseph finally understood why crazy people, that shoot others for toilet paper, existed. Staring at his hands and the nearby sink, Joseph frowned in contemplation. After sitting on the toilet and debating for a while, Joseph gritted his teeth, stood up, and pulled up his pants.
"No one will notice. I'll go back and handle it," Joseph muttered to himself as he washed his hands and walked out the bathroom.
Glancing around, Joseph noticed that the apartment room was completely silent and devoid of life. A cold breeze swept across Joseph's back as if someone invisible was patting his back to congratulate him on his survival.
"S-Sir? Are you here?" Joseph hollered, but only silence answered him.
A drop of sweat rolled down Joseph's pale face as his eyes flickered around in panic.
"C-calm down Joseph. You're only scaring yourself. There's nothing here. The cold doesn't bother me anyways," Joseph muttered as he forced his weakened body to walk towards the door.
As Joseph came closer and closer to the door, his heart began to beat faster and faster while his eyes flickered back and forth in vigilance. He even ignored the pizza on the counter. As soon as he stepped out the doorway, he bolted towards the elevator as if there was a dog chasing from behind. His face was filled with fear.
Slamming the elevator button, Joseph impatiently waited for the elevator door to open, "Come on! Come on!"
Ding! Joseph stepped into the elevator door. As he peeked through the closing elevator door, he noticed the door to an apartment near the elevator was actually opening on its own! Joseph stared with wide eyes in fear and finally breathed a sigh of relief as the elevator door closed. His weak body slumped against the elevator wall and slid down to the ground.
"What the f**k is going on?" Joseph muttered weakly with tears in his eyes.
Ding! The elevator doors opened. Joseph used the walls of the elevator to help his weakened body up. He shuffled out of the elevator and out of the apartment. The warm sunlight shone down from the sky, and Joseph opened his arms wide to embrace it.
"Finally out ... I swear I will never come back," Joseph muttered as he glanced weakly at the old apartment building.
Joseph then got in his car and drove off. Shifting the gear, Joseph increased the speed to get away from the gloomy street even faster as he still didn't feel safe.
The old apartment building stood still on the street that was returned to silence. Suddenly, a loud car screech resounded from the distance before the loud sound of a crash echoed on the street. A cold wind swept on the street and a soft, evil cackle was heard faintly in the wind. Alas, no one heard it.
One hour later, a car slowly stopped in front of the apartment building.
"Eh? It's here isn't it? What could be wrong with the person here to be living in such a remote place?" a man muttered as he stepped out of a car with a box of pizza.
Going up to the fourth floor, the man knocked on the door to room 444, "D*mino's pizza! Your large pizza is here!"
The door opened to reveal a young man with a smile, "Oh my points delivery is here. How much?"
The delivery man tilted his head a bit in confusion, but he still replied dutifully, "That will be $10.74 please."
"Alright, one moment. Let me go get the money," the young man replied before walking into the kitchen to search the drawers.
The delivery man's eyes followed the young man into the kitchen. He then noticed the pizza box on the counter and a puzzled expression appeared on his face, but he was then distracted by the sudden rumble in his stomach.
Not long later, another pizza box was stacked on top of the old pizza box. A pale delivery man tumbled out of room 444 with a frightened face and ran towards the elevator. Pro waved goodbye from behind, "Thank you for your delivery. I hope you enjoyed Toilet Wonderland~"
An evil smile appeared on Pro's face. Pro closed the door and reset the scene a bit, ignoring the pizza boxes. He then entered the bedroom to recover. Picking up the phone, Pro dialed another number, "Hi! Is this Mountain M*ke's? I would like to order a pizza ..."
Not long after, Pro rolled around on the bed with Alice while waiting for his next points delivery. Although the pizza tasted sh*tty to the dead, the delivery itself was delicious.
