Robbery

Tap. Tap. Tap. The man with the assault rifle silently led his team down the hallway.

One of the lackeys behind him glanced around curiously before he couldn't help but asking in a soft voice, "Boss, why must we come up here to hide? I heard this entire building is abandoned, and if we hide on the first floor, we will escape much easier if the police finds us."

The man with the assault rifle continued to walk forward as he responded in a cold tone, "We've checked the rooms downstairs, and we know that no one lives in them. That means that they will be lacking in supplies such as daily necessities. However, I saw an online rental ad of an apartment room on this floor, and it says the owner is waiting here ready to give a tour."

"Huh? If there is someone living here, then won't we be discovered? Boss, maybe we should go before they call the police!" the lackey replied with a panicking tone.

The only lady in the group rolled her eyes as she glanced back at the lackey in disdain. However, she didn't say anything.

The other lackey, who was walking besides the lackey who spoke out, gave his companion a smack on the head as he reprimanded, "Stupid Jon! We chose a floor that someone lives in because it means that there will be daily necessities! So what if there are people here? We just got to get rid of them and there won't be any!"

Jon gawked his mouth in surprise for a bit before he nodded in excitement while commenting, "That's right! Just get rid of them! Boss is so smart!"

The boss did not reply and the hallway descended into awkward silence. It didn't take long for the group to stop in front apartment 444.

"It should be here," the boss muttered as he signaled his team to get ready.

The two lackeys in the back raised their guns and pointed at the door. The lady held her knife up, ready to pounce forward if needed. The boss then raised his to knock on the door, but when his hand landed on the door, the door actually opened on its own with a loud creak!

The group froze in surprise as the two lackeys stepped back in shock with trembling hands. The lady pulled out her pistol as she glanced at her surroundings with sharp eyes. With a grim face, the boss vigilantly raised his assault rifle and aimed it into the apartment.

Seeing that the apartment room was empty, the boss hollered, "Come out! Don't play tricks with me!"

His voice echoed in the hallway, but there was no response. The boss frowned before he commanded, "Jon, Rick, cover the doorway. Lisa, cover my back, let's go check the situation."

With his assault rifle ready to fire, the boss then cautiously stepped into the apartment room while Lisa followed behind him with her gun. The lackeys at the back guarded the hallway with pale faces as they couldn't help but glance at each other while letting their imaginations run wild.

Meanwhile, the boss and Lisa has searched the apartment room and found nothing suspicious except the fact that the bedroom door was locked. Lisa glanced at her boss, but her boss only silently stared at the bedroom door in deep thought before sneering, "If they are really inside, then they won't have anywhere to run to. I don't hear anyone calling the cops from inside, so it may be empty. Perhaps the tenant isn't home and may have left the door opened by accident."

The boss then glanced at the two lackeys at the doorway as he commanded, "Coast is clear, one of you stand guard outside and restrain the tenant when he comes back."

Lisa breathed a sigh of relief as she put her gun away. The lackeys also loosened their tense nerves. Rich patted Jon on the shoulder as he stated, "You can take first watch."

Before Jon can refute, Rick took the black bag from his hands and carried it into the apartment. Jon helplessly scratched his head for a bit before he diligently stood guard. Glancing at the empty, silent hallway, Jon couldn't help but feel a chill, but he didn't know what is causing it.

In the apartment room, Lisa strolled over to the couch to rest her legs. Glancing at the old couch, Lisa noticed a weird plushy doll sitting on it. Lisa frowned as she didn't like dolls, so she grabbed the doll and tossed her into the corner of the room.

Tossing her mask onto the table, Lisa then plopped herself down on the sofa as she placed her long, white legs onto the table. Rick who was lugging the black bag into the living room couldn't help but glance at the legs lustfully, but looked away with fright when Lisa smirked at him as she licked her lips.

Seeing the timid man that didn't dare to take the bait, Lisa grumpily looked away and hollered towards her boss, "Boss, you want to join me on the sofa so I can help you polish your gun?"

The boss, who went to check the kitchen for food, had a solemn face as he stared at the empty kitchen fridge. He thought for a bit before he concluded that the tenant may be out to get more grocery, but he faintly had a bad feeling.

Hearing Lisa's temptation, the boss furrowed his brows as he inwardly cursed; however, he still strolled over in the end and plopped himself on the couch while leaning his assault rifle against the sofa. He then took off his mask as he glanced over at Lisa's white legs with fiery eyes.

Lisa had a playful smile as she reached out her hands towards her boss's thighs, wanting to help him unwind. She also provocatively glanced at Rick, who was awkwardly standing by the bathroom not knowing what to do.

The boss gave Rick a glance as Rick wryly smiled back, but his face suddenly distorted. The boss that Rick was finally going to man up and fight back, but Rick's reply shocked him.

"B-Boss, I think I need to take a quick dump. Just do your thing, I won't bother you," Rick said as he briskly walked into the bathroom while clutching his stomach.

The boss raised his eyebrows in surprise as Rick knew how to take the hint without him actually having to give a command like usual. Seeing the bathroom door slam shut, the boss glanced back at Lisa who was now rubbing against him. He enjoyed the moment for a while before a lusty grin appeared on his face as he was about to reach out to retaliate; however he was disturbed by the sudden moans coming from the bathroom.

The boss frowned and glared at the bathroom with disgust. He thought this Rick knew his place, but now he actually dared to play with himself in the bathroom because he couldn't do it outside? It seems he will need to find a replacement soon.

Due to the disgusting moans coming from the bathroom, Lisa also lost her motivation to continue. She huffed in anger as she looked away from the bathroom, but her eyes shrunk in shock and confusion when she noticed a familiar doll laying against the sofa right besides her foot.

Lisa froze in fright for a moment as he mind blanked, but she still instinctively kicked the doll away as she exclaimed in fright, "The f*ck? I remember I threw it into the corner!"

The boss glanced over at Lisa with confusion as he asked in a gruff voice, "What's wrong?"

Lisa shook her head while still staring at the motionless doll, "N-nothing, I must be imagining things."

Following Lisa's line of sight, the boss also glanced at the weird doll. He had a chilly feeling because he felt that the doll was actually staring at them with its button eyes, but he shoved this notion out of his mind. After all, how could that be possible?

Noticing that the moans from the bathroom has stopped, the boss then held Lisa's hand as he said softly, "Robbing the bank may have made you tense. It's not good to keep your mind that way as you may start imagining things to scare yourself. Stop worrying about a doll, let's unwind a bit."

Lisa breathed a sigh of relief as she then glanced back her boss while licking her lips. The duo's face gradually came closer over time as the boss felt a fiery heat at his lower body. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eyes, the boss saw the doll and he stood up in shock while grabbing his gun!

Lisa glanced at her boss in confusion as she followed his line of sight. She then saw that the doll that she kicked away to the corner has somehow ended up in the center of the room in front of the sofa!

"W-What?!" Lisa gripped her boss tightly in fright as her eyes glared at the doll.

The boss also frowned as he realized that something was very wrong. Aiming his gun at the doll, he hesitated if he should waste some bullets to shoot a child's toy. Although he manged to rob the bank successfully, the bullets for his assault rifle still cost a hefty sum of money.

Thud! A sudden sound echoed from the hallway causing the boss to turn around in shock. He then noticed that Jon was no longer guarding the doorway! The boss had a bad feeling as he called out in a cold tone, "Jon? You there?"

What answered him was silence. Lisa also stood up with a pale face at this time. Her gun was out as she aimed it at the door, but her eyes couldn't help but peek at the doll on the ground behind her from time to time.

Hearing no response even after a while, the boss gritted his teeth as he went to knock on the bathroom door, "Rick, come out! Now! We've got a situation."

However, once again, silence answered him. Cold sweat rolled down the boss's face as he glanced at the shut bathroom door. Pulling the nearby black bag with one hand, the boss then signaled Lisa to take point with his gun. Lisa vehemently shook her head, but with the assault rifle aimed at her, she had no choice.

With Lisa walking in front, the boss cautiously followed her out of the apartment and into the empty hallway. Glancing at the nearby ground, he noticed a fresh puddle of blood, but found no corresponding body. Seeing this, Lisa trembled in fright as she said in a shaky voice, "B-Boss, that must be Jon's blood!"

The boss nodded in agreement as he commanded, "There's something wrong here! Let's get out of here!"

With Lisa walking in front, the duo hurriedly ran towards the elevator. As they neared the end of the hallway, the boss suddenly saw Lisa disappear right in front of him!

Letting go of the black bag in shock and fear, the boss raised his gun and aimed it forward vigilantly, "L-Lisa?"

Suddenly, the boss heard a muffled voice from the other end of the hallway. As he turned around vigilantly, all he saw was the door to an apartment at the end of the hallway slamming shut.

Bam! An echo rung in the hallway as the boss's eyes shook in fright. His hands holding the trembled unsteadily as he hollered with a frightened voice, "W-Who is it?! Come out for me! Stop playing tricks with us! I'm not afraid of you!"

Nobody responded, but this made the boss even more nervous. With gun aimed forward, he timidly lowered his hand and tightly gripped the black bag as he slowly retreated backwards.

Suddenly, his surroundings distorted, and when he recovered his sight, the boss noticed that he was now facing a blank wall! After a moment of confusion, the boss glanced around and noticed that the elevator was now at the opposite end of the hallway!

Checking his current location, the boss thought he was at the other end of the hallway, but he noticed that the door at the end of the hallway was gone. The door of the apartment that he saw slamming shut was also gone. This confused the boss as he couldn't tell if he was really at the end of the hallway.

Still, the boss gritted his teeth and dragged the black bag with him as he marched towards the elevator while constantly checking behind him in vigilance. However, when he was halfway through the hallway, a humming, tan-skinned lady walked out from apartment 444 and stood in the center of the hallway in front of him.

The boss paused in shock before he vigilantly aimed his gun at the lady while growling, "Miss, don't try any funny business and show me the way out, or I will shoot you dead as a door nail."

"Hehehe~" the lady giggled as she tilted her head while replying, "By funny business, do you mean something like ... this?"

Then, the boss watched in horror as the lady's head tilted and toppled off her shoulder, leaving a headless body standing in front of him. The boss's heart sunk as fear caused his mind to blank. Just when the boss wanted to instinctively pull the trigger on his gun, he felt a heavy force smash against the back of his neck, causing his vision to go black.

As the boss's consciousness faded away, he seemed to hear a male voice in the background, "I can't have you wasting the bullets on my assault rifle."

After a while, the boss groggily woke up. He sat up in confusion as he glanced at his surroundings. Seeing the extremely high walls of the enormous room with furnishing that was larger than himself, the boss couldn't help but mutter, "Where am I?"

He then glanced down at himself and saw a plushy, finger-less hand made from cloth, as if they were the hands of a plushy doll. He stared in shock for a bit before a familiar female voice distracted him, "Welcome newbie! I see you've awakened."

Glancing towards the voice, he noticed a female plushy doll standing nearby with her arms on her hip. He couldn't help but find the features on this doll familiar, but he couldn't seem to recall it. With a confused mind, he asked, "Who are you?"

"Me? Name's Lisa. I'm a loyal servant of her highness, Ali! How about you newbie?"

The male doll sat in the ground silently for a bit before he replied as if he had enlightenment, "My name is Gerald, but I like going by the nickname of Boss more. I am also a loyal servant of her highness, Ali!"

A smile arose on the female doll's face as she reached her plushy hand out to help her new compatriot up, "That's right! Welcome to the family newbie! Let's serve her highness Ali to the best of our abilities together!"
