Stepping into the seventh floor once more, Pro grinned as he glanced through apartment 779's doorway and saw the recovering portrait of his face. Will Pro deny the fast food provided by the blood spirit? Of course not.
With a couple of skips, Pro arrived in front of the portrait. The joss paper in the room flew at him like paper airplanes on their final kamikaze journey. Ignoring the minuscule damage from the weak attack, Pro grabbed the portrait once more.
This time, it seemed that the blood spirit wanted to resist as it 'held' onto the portrait tightly. Pro growled as he exerted his strength to pull out the portrait, "Let! Go! It's the copyright fee you have to pay for using my image!"
Clack! In the end, the portrait was taken away from the blood spirit once more. As black blood leaked out from the coffin once more, the blood spirit couldn't help but feel a bit autistic inside. Dude, why are you so focused on stealing this portrait! Fight me instead!
However, Pro couldn't hear the blood spirit's thoughts nor did he care. After he grabbed his points, he happily skipped back to his domain to add the points to his pocket.
[Ding! Mysterious object with yin qi detected. Absorbing object ...]
[Host's domain has absorbed a possession object filled with yin qi. Host gains 120 life points.]
"Tsk, so stingy. Can't you recover faster?" Pro complained as he returned to the seventh floor hallway.
After taking a glance at apartment 779 and seeing that the portrait wasn't recovering, Pro decided to head to apartment 775 while he waited for his next order of 'fast food' from the blood spirit.
"Door number who knows what number, please go join your friends in broken door heaven," Pro muttered as he used his pro door smashing skills.
Bam! The door flipped a couple times as it flew across the ground before finally smashing into a group of chairs lined up in the living room. Pro raised his eyebrow with a hint of curiosity as he saw another scene decorated with a funeral theme, but this time, it is the audience section.
Rows of chairs lined up facing a small stage that barely fit in the living room. On top of the small stage was a brazier that was still burning. Fumes of black smoke rose from the brazier and made the room a bit foggy. Occasional pieces of ashes fluttered in the air as they landed on the group of chairs below the stage.
The first comment that Pro had when he saw this scene was that it was a horrible design.
"Oi! It seems that the designer was too lazy and just stuffed a stage inside an apartment room. Heck, the stage even blocked the doorway to the bedroom and bathroom. This is a violation to the apartment's living standard and it is my duty to make it right by destroying this scene!"
Dashing forward, Pro easily knocked away the group of fold-able chairs that were in his way and made it to the stage. With a leap, he landed on the stage and he focused on the brazier that he sensed the yin qi gathering at.
"Can evil spirits still live in harmony with fire? Isn't fire like evil spirits' weakness? This design doesn't make sense!" Pro muttered, but he still diligently smash his claws down at the brazier.
Whoosh! Responding to Pro's attack, the fire in the brazier suddenly exploded and turned into a flaming demon! The flaming demon gave an angry, long howl as it pounced towards the nearby Pro.
Swish! A gust of wind followed the trajectory of Pro's cut due to its speed as the wave of flames was bisected in half. The flames only managed to warm up Pro's skin before his claws smashed down onto the brazier.
As the brazier was tipped over, a cloud of ashes rose into the air and rained down like snow, but the brazier was not sliced in half as intended. Pro expected this to some extent as he recalled how the metallic evil spirits on this floor were rather resilient.
The flaming demon regathering above the brazier once more, and the black ashes mixed on only served to enhance its ferociousness. Pro glanced at it before giving it another swipe to disperse the flame.
Then, Pro did something that nobody should try at home. He grabbed the supposedly burning hot brazier with his hands and picked it up easily. At first, Pro expected the brazier to be hot, but to his surprise, he only felt chilling cold when he grabbed the brazier. Even with his tough physique, Pro could feel the cold chill coming from the brazier.
"Uh ... it's so cold that it burns? Is that even possible?" Pro tilted his head in confusion a bit but didn't think much about the queerness, "Doesn't matter if it's hot or cold, it'll still turn into my points."
With giddy steps, Pro hopped off the stage and strolled back to his domain with the brazier while dispersing the flame demon from time to time. It didn't take long for him to return to his domain.
The next step need not be explained. Pro spent some time to take care of the brazier with his strong strength. If claws don't work, just use foot and fists. It didn't take long for the fire to be stamped out and the metal brazier to be dented like a car wreck.
The weak spark of fire left in the brazier then exploded and blinded Pro's vision. Pro sighed in melancholy as he realized he had to sit through another boring cut-scene, this time of the brazier sitting in the funeral home.
"Burn more money for your father. Let him enjoy his life in the underworld."
"Why send money your father when you can send his mistresses to him? This brazier should be big enough."
"Your father should miss you down there. As his son, let us send you to go accompany him."
The fire in the brazier eventually flickered out, only leaving cold, silent ashes. The scene faded away and returned to the hallway.

[After absorbing a powerful spirit, host gains 880 life points.]
Pro scratched his head a bit as he connected the story, "I guess the blood spirit should be the father maybe? Jeez, it's literally an entire, interconnected murder story on each floor. I got to say that BDS elder can probably become an author."
Stretching a bit, Pro got ready to confront the final spirit on the floor. According to his info, that spirit escaped from an upper floor, but it seemed that most of the floor seemed to be connected to it.
"Did it wipe out the previous baleful spirits on the floor? Or did it assimilate them somehow and turned them all into its servant. Well, I'll find out after I defeat this blood spirit."
Pro confidently strolled into the seventh floor hallway and glanced at apartment 779. Pro then sighed in regret as he no longer saw another portrait. Still, the joss paper didn't stop their duty of pelting Pro's face.
Rolling his eyes, Pro strolled into apartment 779. Glancing at the closed coffin, Pro then quickly went to search the bedroom and bathroom. After making sure that the coffin was the only thing left he could take, he decided to choose the best option.
"Since I can't cut it up, let's just carry the whole thing back," Pro muttered with a shrug.
He then walked up to the coffin and tried to tug the coffin away from the bier, the table below it. Realizing it was stuck tight, Pro gave the coffin a couple of kicks to see if he could get it unstuck.
Glancing down at the bier, Pro then decided to take it along as well. Knowing that the bier was glued to the ground somehow, Pro gave the bier many strong kicks, causing cracks to appear all over it. It didn't take long for the entire bier to get kicked off the ground.
Watching the coffin staying stuck to the bier even when toppling over, Pro sneered before he laboriously shoved them both out the doorway. The blood spirit tried to impede Pro's progress with all its might by occasionally gluing itself to the ground and pelting him with joss paper.
When Pro finally pushed the entire coffin out of the apartment room, the blood spirit finally can't seem to help it any longer. The lid of the coffin was kicked open as a rotten man's corpse, that seemed to be corroded by poison, started to climb out of it.
"Oh hell no. Stay down!" Pro hollered as he bonked the corpse's head with his fist and sending it smashing back into the coffin.
Pro then grabbed the lid and smashed it close back on top of the coffin. With his hands holding the center of the lid to keep it shut, Pro continued to shove the coffin and bier towards the stairway door with his body strength.
Thud! Thud! Thud! The corpse tried to blast the lid off just like Pro did, but failed to do so in the face of Pro's strength. After struggling a bit to get the coffin and bier to barely fit through the doorway, Pro finally lugged the coffin into his domain.
Pro grinned as he knew that there was no escape for the poor fellow in the coffin. Knowing that the domain barrier near this floor was damaged, Pro didn't want the blood spirit to escape so he slid the coffin down the stairway and away from the seventh floor.
After reaching the sixth floor, Pro finally released his hands on the coffin lid. Bam! The lid was sent flying as the corpse clambered out of it while glaring at Pro angrily.
Pro smiled back like a gentleman before he smashed his fists into the corpse's face. Bam! Thud! Bam! Although it was also a blood spirit, it's strength wasn't even close to Pro's top-level blood spirit strength. The poor corpse was smashed around in the stairway like a rag doll.
After tearing off its arms and legs in addition to giving it a toilet curse, Pro left the corpse nearby while it slowly regenerated by absorbing black mist coming from the coffin. While keeping an eye on the corpse, Pro began working on giving the coffin a new shape. Of course, the coffin quickly recovered like memory metal, but Pro didn't give up.
Switching back and forth between bashing the two while ignoring the joss paper that was spat at him from inside the coffin, Pro spent more than an hour before he managed to damage the coffin to the point where its recovery can't keep up with the destruction.
At this point, Pro gripped tightly onto the edges of the coffin and exerting his full strength, he managed to tear the damaged sides off the coffin. A loud screech of pain echoed in the stairway as black blood gushed out from the coffin.
After snapping the chunk of wood into halves and tossing it away, Pro calmly worked on tearing each side of the coffin. This was now easier to do after one side was torn off. It didn't take long before the coffin was dissembled by Pro. Pro didn't let go of the bier under it either.
After another half hour of effort, Pro finally tore this tough spirit to pieces with brute strength. Pro then watched the scene transition into darkness.
Thud. Thud. Thud. Weak knocks on wood were heard in the darkness as a weak male voice hollered.
"Is anyone there? I'm not dead yet! Let me out!"
"Those b*stards! How dare they drug me! I will never forgive them! Once I get out, I will make sure they are fed to the sharks!"
" S-someone! Please save me! I can't hold on for much longer! C-Can anyone here me?!"
"I-I can't breathe ... I know you all can here me!"
The sound of gravel and dirt hitting wood echoed in the darkness, as if something was being buried. It didn't take long for silence to reign over the darkness.
"I-I curse you all ..."
The darkness faded away as Pro returned to the stairway.

[After absorbing a powerful spirit, host gains 2250 life points.]
"Only a low-level blood spirit? Well, it wasn't too difficult to take care of. Perhaps the stairway blood spirit was more troublesome, but fortunately the protagonist did most of the work at that time," Pro made a simple conclusion and accepted the results.
"With that, the seventh floor is now cleared. Time to check if there is any interesting loot."
Like an experienced treasure hunter, Pro returned to the seventh floor and scoured the empty floor for items that could help his domain. Unfortunately, even the beds in the security room couldn't be used to upgrade his security office. Pro could only helplessly head back to his domain.
"Hmm ... I wonder if that pig has respawned yet?" Pro muttered as he went to check on the fifth floor security office.
To his surprise, he found a low-level butcher baleful spirit waiting to be slaughtered! Pro happily dragged it back to his domain and turned the meat into another 460 points.
Finally returning to the fourth floor, Pro cheerfully spent some time with Alice and Ali while he calculated his total gains.
"With this complete harvest, I now have a total of 11,420 points! After my domain recovers fully in a couple hours, I can complete my expansion and will still have a high progress towards my goal of 25,000 points! As expected, grinding the spirits on this farm is truly worthwhile! Perhaps after harvesting the eighth floor, I would gain enough points to upgrade!"
Hugging Alice and playing with the cute Ali laying on his chest, Pro comfortably laid on the bed as his eyes shined in excitement. He has just upgraded and it seemed that he was ever so close to his goal already!
An evil glint flashed across Pro's eyes. He knew he had fallen to the darkness in order to gather points, but Pro didn't care. As long as he has his family to serve as his beacon of light, he is willing to embrace the darkness to gain the strength to protect them.
"Since I will be able to leave soon, I can be more unscrupulous with my visitors and harvest as much as I can before I go."
