Chapter 151

"You know, Koki did choose a good family for you," Kinoski replied. "Yuki is probably the best brother anyone could have, he didn't question you and forced everyone out, he also let me stay because he knew you'd probably need someone to talk to, and he choose me which means he accepts me and trusts me to be alone with you behind closed doors and without supervision."

"Shut up, I know he's an amazing brother," Isa snapped. "Bakugo is too, you've seen it, they both act like assholes but they both have a soft side when they feel it's necessary." Kinoski then started running his fingers through Isa's hair.

"Your hair's so soft," Kinoski breathed. "What are you a chinchilla?"

"Might as well be," Isa laughed. They both then laughed and went silent for a bit. Koki then appeared in the room.

"Isa I," Koki started but stopped after he saw Kinoski. "Wait, you told him."

"Koki," Isa sighed.

"Look at the table, you moron," Kinoski replied. Koki then looked at the table and bit his lip.

"Isa, I-I'm sorry," Koki replied. "I just wanted to try to forget about it, but I see that's impossible, you acted like it didn't happen and I couldn't do that, the way you see everything, I hate it."

"Come on Koki," Kinoski replied. "You can join us."

"Isa's already asleep," Koki chuckled as he lay down next to them. "She cares too much about others to show that she's upset or hurt, she won't let us use our quirks on her."

"Yuki was a good brother for her," Kinoski replied. "And you were a good friend, she always has been this way with her emotions, she always said she was fine when she wasn't and when I lost my father she came over a few times and all we did was talk and cuddle, while we cuddled I started to realize that she was worse off than I was and that she needed the cuddling more."

"All the scars on her," Koki sighed.

"Yeah, she told me the basics, of what happened, but not what she just told me, that never even came up or seemed to bother her," Kinoski replied. Koki then rested his head against Kinoski's shoulder and started crying. "Everyone has their good and bad moments, Isa knows that."

"I was four and I forced an eleven-year-old almost twelve to promise to not die," Koki cried. "Seeing her like that scared the shit out of me."

"Would scare me too," Kinoski replied. "Sad she only had someone more than half her age to go to at the time for something like that, a kid should never witness that."

"Yeah, I know," Koki sighed. "I felt like I was older than her giving her advice, saying I'd get her out of there and adopt her if I could."

"You matured pretty quick like her, huh?" Kinoski replied.

"Yeah, and stop it you sound like a dad," Koki whined.

"Isa did adopt you," Kinoski pointed out.

"What did I get myself into," Koki sighed.

"I don't know," Kinoski laughed. "But I'm in it too, thirteen adopted fathers-in-law, a father-in-law, eight mothers-in-law, and a mother-in-law in the future."

"Yeah, that's unfortunate," Koki laughed. "Feels good for someone else to know about it."

"I understand that," Kinoski replied.

"I'm glad you're okay about it too," Koki replied. "She did not grant that promise you know, and the way you reacted, you understood, stayed calm, and listened, you didn't overreact, you just comforted her, she deserves you, you are an amazing person for her, and a great boyfriend."

"Thank you, Koki," Kinoski sighed. Koki then fell asleep. Kinoski then sighed.

"Hey, is everything okay?" Bakugo walked in with Yuki.

"Yeah," Kinoski whispered.

"So they told you, how bad is it?" Yuki asked.

"Really, really bad," Kinoski replied and bit his lip. "Ten out of ten."

"That's all I wanted to know," Yuki sighed and sat on the bed, looked at Isa and Bakugo then sighed and did the same. "She does a good job of hiding it." Kinoski then started crying.

"Can you tell what her favorite song is?" Bakugo asked. Kinoski wiped his tears and ran his finger's through her hair.

"It's hard to tell at this point, it could be anything," Kinoski sighed. "I now know Koki's though."

"You say anything, I will kill you," Koki muttered in his sleep. Kinoski then laughed.

"He's adorable isn't he?" Kinoski laughed.

"What the hell," Bakugo smiled.
