Chapter 159

"You can't use photosynthesis," Yuki snapped. Isa then bit her lip and looked at Kinoski.

"Speaking of," Isa replied as Kagami, Wakumi, Nori, Akima, Akito, Koki, Haruki, La Brava, Kona, and Kahida each had a plate with food that appeared in their hands. "There's your lunches."

"Thanks," Wakumi replied. "My favorite."

"Where did you get all that money?" Nori asked. Washirou then looked away from everyone. Isa looked at him and then leaned on him. He then looked at her in shock.

"What?" Isa asked and stopped leaning on him.

"You still have my money," Washirou snapped. Isa then laughed.

"Of course," Isa replied. "I've been using your card, you gave it to me."

"How much is left?" Washirou snapped.

"Well, I've been buying things that I needed so there is a lot left, we went to the nail salon today but that's it, I've been using it mostly for food and drinks," Isa replied. "You had about forty-nine thousand seven hundred thirty-eight dollars and seventy-eight cents when you gave me the card, it has been about six years and it is at forty-four thousand six hundred eighty-five dollars and thirty-eight cents." Everyone looked at Isa in shock. "I also promised the bank wouldn't find it suspicious or decline the card at all."

"You were eleven," Washirou breathed.

"She spent about a thousand each year, that's a little over five thousand," Kinoski snapped.

"When I stayed with Koki for about three weeks, I spent my money mostly on food, then I got adopted by Wakumi, and I weekly went in to keep the card activated until I ran away last year from the last family because they were falling out, I tried to kill my self and didn't eat or drink for about three weeks and then wound up going to get some when I needed and now here I am, so I went and got my nails done."

"Wait, Isa, you promised you would only be able to die once," Koki snapped. "I remember that now, it would be impossible for you to promise not to die."

"That one word changes everything huh," Isa laughed. "But I didn't die, it was a false promise, I didn't mean it, I promised you when you fell asleep."

"Isa," Kinoski breathed. Hisashi then laughed.

"She cheated death, by going to a different family," Hisashi laughed.
