The rabbit

The girl slowly stands up with a slight blush. My guess is being called a two-timer probably didn't help. I mean, I more or less called her a homewrecker. Poor Kaori. "So~ You gonna introduce us to your other girlfriend here, Mr. Chad~," I say while smirking internally, but on the outside acting thoroughly disgusted. I know he has no idea who she is, but it's fucking funny. He's probably even more confused about the two-timing thing.

"What the hell are you talking about, shadowgirl. I've got no idea who she is, why she's clinging to me, or where we even ended up. Not to mention, who the hell would I be two-timing on. I don't even have a girlfriend." For the next five minutes, Nagumo regretted saying that as the bunny girl, not even bothering to introduce herself, began seducing him. I just felt bad for Kaori. I mean, she should've already confessed to this dense idiot. I can tell he's only two steps from breaking down.

'Sigh~ Let's put an end to this.'

"Alright, miss. I think that's enough. He may not realize it, but he does have somebody waiting for him. Now, who are you, why are you here, and why are you so intent on losing yourself to this dipshit?" I ask while point my finger at her then extending my thumb at Nagumo at the last part.

"Hey!"

"Shut it. I'm not talking to you. Sit in a corner and reevaluate your relationships. Then, maybe you'll realize who I'm talking about. You can have your harem, but only after you talk to her, Mr. Playboy."

"Ugh!!!" He grumbles as he lumbers to a corner, actually pondering the issue.

"Now, your turn," I say as I refocus on the bunny girl.

She gulps and begins to answer. "I'm..." before she could answer, a headache began forming as the dino came back and roared in my face.

The girl looks terrified while the rest of us are thoroughly unamused. Instead of even fighting the thing, I glare at it with so much killing intent that it sends shivers down even Nagumo's spine.

"Run," I grumbled at the dino. And it does, at a speed that I didn't think was actually possible. I lower my killing intent but don't stop my glare as I turn to the bunny girl, who is trying to get my girl's attention away from my fabulous ass. Literally, Yue is staring at my ass, right out in the open. I let her and even help her as I push out my waist a bit and put my hand in a way that fully accentuates my perky behind, making her lick her lips and causing me to smirk.

"Now, tell me," I say once again to the bunny girl, not enjoying being interrupted three times now. I am enjoying a particular vampire's gaze, however.

"S-S-Shea H-Haulia, eldest daughter of the Haulia beast tribe, and we need your help." So she says as she looks at Nagumo, causing me to raise my eyebrow. My guess, she thinks he's the leader for some reason. At this point, she's giving such a sad pouty face that even I would be hard-pressed to say no. I look at Nagumo, thinking it may be worthwhile to have others believe he's the leader while it would, in reality, be me.

"What do you mean you need help?" Nagumo asks. Like I've said, he is smart, just not precisely in the common sense department. Luckily he can understand a signal and some of the more apparent situations.

"My tribe decided to leave our village because of me. I was born with monster abilities like an extreme mana pool and future sight. When we left, I looked into a few futures and one of the few that let us survive required me to request your assistance. With your help, the tribe would survive with no casualties, unlike the others where the lowest count was half of the tribe."

"Why were you banished just for having monster abilities? I would consider that a boon." Yue said. Coming from a princess, this means something.

"They were superstitious. The village believed me to be a calamity being, but my tribe saw me as a lovable little girl that cared for my family." I nod, and Nagumo seems to have considered this worthwhile as well. Yue also seems to want to help, and so he agrees.

Nagumo pulled out two of our bikes, a red and a black, and we set off. After about three hours, we arrive at a forest with wyverns flying and attacking every so often. Just as one is about to strike a little girl, Nagumo shoots it, killing it instantly.

"Wow, these things are weak. But, hey Nagumo, seems like a freebie escort mission, huh?"

"Oh, you have so just raised a flag, shadow girl. Although I would agree. If you use your shadow legion, this mission would be a freebie." He says while continuing to shoot down wyverns. Not long after, all of the wyverns are dead, and only one of the Haulia tribe members was injured, and it was a simple cut.

"Papa! Look, I promised I could, and I did! These are the people I told you about." Shea runs over and drags a man over toward our group. "Hello, I am Cam Haulia, chief of the tribe. Thank you for helping us and for saving us back there."

Nagumo nods, causing me to sigh and take up my leadership mantle again. I can't leave this chieftain ignored after all. "It's no worries, sir. My name's Andrea, that's Nagumo, and this is Yue. Your daughter already gave us a gist of what's happening, so we'll be guarding you en route to where you'll be settling."

He nods and we go over the finer details. While Nagumo is off to the side, being far too emo to be comfortable with, I talk to Shea and the chief. Sorry, Kaori, but you aren't escaping the harem aura this kid reeks of, might as well get you a good sister if you are going to have them.

"Before we start going into this too deeply, what are your thoughts about Nagumo, Shea?" I guess getting asked this in front of your dad is a little painful. Thank god mine was immediate. "I-I kinda like him, I guess." I nod at her statement and then ask the vital part.

"Shea, I'm pretty sure that if you like him and try to be with him, you will get some sister-wives. Are you okay with this? Also, don't assume you'll be number one. I have a feeling you may be two at best knowing him and the girl I mentioned earlier." Cam frowns a little, but Shea seems fine with it. "Alright then, if that's the case, join us on our journey after we get your tribe to safety."

Shea seems excited by this, which worries me a little. Shouldn't she try to be a little possessive? I mean, if it were Yue, I'd straight up say no and add some shadows to my legion that would only be food for a few others to grow stronger. I sigh at her reaction. I know I'm unique, family traits.

"Anyways, how far are we traveling anyways?"

"Only about two or three days," Shea says. Afterward, we continue on our way. During the second day, the tribe requested training, which we oblige with, and regretted VERY quickly. These dumbasses were worse than the hippies. They literally worshipped a flower before Nagumo got so pissed he stomped it into oblivion.

Shea shows some promise, though. I don't think she'll ever catch up to us, but she wouldn't be far off. Eventually, the tribe changed fundamentally and became a little sadistic. It was offputting. Luckily Shea didn't have that issue. Ultimately, Shea guided us to a huge tree, where we were destined to part. The tribe promised to continue growing, under the suggestion of Shea, while Nagumo has noticed that they found a new labyrinth, previously ignored. After discovering it, he marked it on his PDA and promised to return once he had the requirements to enter, four rings and regeneration magic, it seems.

Thus, we departed from the tribe and continued our journey towards the next town, attempting to find another dungeon on the way, which the mapmaker conveniently excluded and our satellites couldn't locate either.
