Leon came with a raft to fetch us in the middle of the sea. On the way back, I answered briefly Leon's inquiries but I was looking at Gregory hoping for some, I don't know, approval but he was avoiding my gaze.
That moment, the butterflies in my stomach instantly flew away and was filled with humiliation instead. I felt like Gregory was regretting what has just happened. When we arrived at Oro, I immediately went inside the tent and looked for towels. As I wiped face dry, I started sobbing. I felt so humiliated by the fact I almost insisted myself on Gregory, and for a moment thought he liked me too but I got turned down instead.
Anna and Charlie arrived inside the tent so I forced myself to stop crying.
"Where have you been?" Anna anxiously asked.
"I heard you were stranded on the other island when the high tide came. And you were with Gregory," Charlie asking for affirmation.
