Fourth year at the academy

By the end of my fourth year at the academy I had managed to stop the flow of a waterfall but reversing it's flow would probably take some more time and I had come up with an exercise for third stage of lightning manipulation which was redirecting the path of electricity which I praticed near a small transformer in my apartment complex as no one but me lived there. The next chakra control exercise that I had mastered from tsunade's texts was walking on a waterfall which took me a year to master as it was very difficult and I practiced it on a waterfall in training ground near the forest of death where usually no one went.

I had advanced to level 23 with my resistance seals. I had mastered the first two stages of rasengan that is rotation and power and practiced them till they beacame instantaneous and also learnt the completed form of rasengan as original Naruto learnt it with the help of a clone but I was intent on mastering it with one hand and forming it instantly which would probably take another two months.

I had finished the elemental manipulation exercises for wind as I remember them which were cutting a leaf in half and then cutting a waterfall and now I was trying to cut rocks with wind chakra as wind was not Very effective against earth and trying to make the cuts as smooth as possible. I had learnt the gale palm jutsu, the wind bullet jutsu and the great breakthrough for wind and I had also started channeling wind chakra into my weapons and as a result learned the Hien jutsu which extended the reach of my blade with pure wind chakra which gave it incredible cutting power. I had managed to learn the water style : water severing wave, water style: waterfall and the water prison jutsu and reduced the number of handseals required and I was working on lowering and increasing the temperature of my water jutsu like water bullet by making it boiling hot and imitating boil release as I believed that certain jutsu used by kekai genkai users could also be used by others like plasma release which was a combination of water and lightning and ice release which a combination of water and wind and lava release which was a combination of earth and fire and boil release which was a combination of water and fire if we could figure out the correct elemental combination by some moves of elemental bloodline users like haku's ice mirror dome could not be used by others. But to imitate the sub elements first I would have to achieve perfect control over all the basic elements which would take years.

I had completed the sixth volume of fuinjutsu which was focused on application. Techniques on increasing the speed one wrote kanji, how to write on the move, how to etch seals into hard surfaces such as rocks and foundations to increase their stability, the technique called chakra etching allowed for a concentrated micro blade of chakra to be made via a conduit. Chakra etching was rare because it took a long time compared to the ink based or the chakra materialization methods but they were longer lasting and more secure from outside influence

as it took another etching to interact with the sealseal and this required atleast a jounin level chakra control. I had created a lightning barrier connected to the security seals on the doors and windows of my apartment and also placed seals on the walls of my apartment making them invulnerable to chakra based attacks and used the chakra used in the attack to strengthen itself and fairly resistance to physical attacks by using a seal which redistributed the impact of the physical attacks so that there was no impact on the barrier it would take some serious strength like Gai after opening fifth gate or tsunade's super strength to break this barrier. Both these barriers were of my own design and I had immediately placed on the Sarutobi compound also to ensure the security of my family as nobody not keyed into the barrier could enter them without the owners permission or would be reduced to a crisp by the lightning barrier. The only people keyed into the barrier around my house were the hokage, mom, hinata and Ino. Another remarkable achievement was that I had finally defeated shikamaru in shogi and I celebrated my achievement by tasting my first bowl of ramen at Ichiraku ramen and I fell in love with it and I asked the owner Teuchi to make me a bowl of ramen full of meat and vegetables and I visited there everyday for lunch and I had quickly become an addict for Ichiraku ramen and also became really close to the small family of father and daughter (Teuchi and ayame) who ran the shop.
