Nobody's monologue and human nature. [Sophia Miller 3]

Well. End of memories.

─Damn! Fool! ─. I yell aggressively, slapping Nick twice.

Round trip.

Then I drive the ice pick into him skin again, penetrating the already made scar. Nick seems to have gotten used to it enough to suppress the screams that are about to come out of his throat.

He doesn't even fight back as he ripped the skin off his neck once more, sending warm blood spurting from him. A pitiful "Gah...!" it is all that escapes his lips.

In my ice─cold hands, I hold the weapon that could have ended Nick's life a long time ago.

Nick doesn't do anything to stop me. He nor he will.

─What will you do if someone discovers that we are false? Tell me, Nicholas Hawk.

─I... I don't know... I'm afraid that day will come, because my death will be certain by then...

─... it's good that you're honest. But being afraid is not enough.

I force open Nick's mouth and skewer the ice pick on his upper palate. He becomes unable to scream from having me hold his jaw. He just writhes in pain as tears roll from his eyes.

As I let Nick fend for himself with the ice pick for a moment, I grab my backpack and from there pull out a stapler. From Nicholas's bloody mouth, I stick my tongue out of him and put it in the middle of the stapler.

Nicholas tries to back off, but before he can.

「Clack」─. I put a staple on his tongue.

Normally the injuries I inflict on Nicholas are in easy places to overlook, his tongue is one of those spots where he wouldn't be able to let other people see his injuries.

We agreed on the conditions long ago.

Nicholas Hawk would pretend to be my boyfriend as long as we are in front of other people. Ignoring that we can't get past holding hands and hugging, Nicholas is totally my boyfriend. He will attend to any request you make with the fewest faults and he will do nothing detrimental to both of you.

Another of the conditions we set is that we will stop doing this until someone else discovers it. Another of these conditions is that he will not be able to demand anything from me such as gifts, tokens of affection or something of that kind as long as; I helped his family's restaurant.

There are many other conditions to maintain this mutually beneficial relationship such as:

➤ Nicholas cannot tell anyone else about this.

➤ Neither of us will do anything that calls into question the veracity of our relationship.

➤ Until I decide to let him go, Nicholas will remain my boyfriend.

➤ Nicholas can't fixate on other girls while he's with me.

➤ I will be happy to help Nicholas in anything as long as he is my boyfriend, even if it is something false.

➤ Sex is out of the question.

➤ We can't harass each other too much.

➤ We will use calls unless we have something important to talk about; otherwise, we will only communicate by text messages.

➤ I can do whatever I want to make Nicholas pay for any mistakes he makes and vice versa. Excluding sexual relations or the demand for something beyond what was previously agreed.

We spent fifteen minutes in the torture session. Until the sun finally set, we left the place after cleaning Nick's blood.

Since there is no one around us that we know, each of us goes his own way. We didn't even say goodbye. This is how we have been all along and how we always will be.

After all, Nick is just my "boyfriend", I can't make any demands on him since we're not engaged.

But even if he hates me with all of his being. I am willing to love him through thick and thin. Of course, I'm fine with all of this.

Sooner or later, he will bow down to me.

And by the time that day comes...

I better not do spoilers. It's not fun if I do it all the time, right?
