Christina Hawk's Monologue and fraternal love. [Nicholas Hawk]

The soothing taste of oolong (1) runs over my tongue. Reassuring my mind in its passage.

(1) It is a type of Chinese tea.

He had had a very busy morning inside the university. My advisor teacher asked the group of biology students to present an investigation regarding environmental pollution from the last year.

Fieldwork is difficult, but it is better than sitting at a computer all day degrading my vision.

It is currently April, and a month after I started college, I am completely tired of it. I decided to study biology, following in the footsteps of my godfather. That way you could get a letter of recommendation from him to get a good job in the future.

Being a teacher is out of my hobbies, so I would never consider it. Having to deal with children is something that I have always hated until now.

I drink the tea at a leisurely pace. While the person next to me does too, using my shoulder as a kind of pillow.

I'm Nicholas Hawk (nickname me) and this girl is my girlfriend, Sophia Miller (we nickname Sophie). The blonde girl has a smile on her face as she is leaning on my shoulder. She is very pretty.

She was studying with me in high school. She proposed to me once and well, we started dating from that point. She is currently visiting the house, but of course, it is not as if only we were in the house.

─Hey, Nicki! Where did you leave the mop?

My older sister bursts into this loving atmosphere. Oh well, she's my older twin sister only for five minutes... but she's still older. It seems that this time my sister is doing the cleaning work on her own.

Got damn. I was going to do it when she left Sophie. But hey, since she's offering herself well...

─I think I put the washing machine together. -. I reply with an audible voice.

─Thank you. Ah, Sophie, would you like to stay for dinner? -. This time the question is directed towards my girlfriend.

She looks at my sister, Christina Hawk (we nicknamed her Chris) with the same smile as before and replies:

─Thank you for the offer, Chris; but I have to do some things at my house today.

─Aww come on, the last time you stayed for dinner we weren't done talking about the things you like about Nicki! It's time to finish that talk!

?

When did you talk about things like that?

I stare at Sophie for an answer. I see how she blushes up to her ears and turns her face away from her trying not to see her. She is so beautiful.

─Please Chris... Don't say such things in front of Nick, it's embarrassing for me!

─Ehhhh? You don't have to... shy... you know what... Nicki... like...

Still...! Can... Nick...

...

...

...

At one point in their conversation. I was left out. My opinion became irrelevant. Any other form of life, insignificant.

I'm just deep in thought.

...

There are.

Something.

Strange.

Here.

To be more exact with my explanation, I have a feeling that this is something that I had experienced before. This moment. This talk. Even the smallest micro-expression. I feel like I had already experienced it beforehand.

It's a strong and irrational amount of deja vu that I feel right now.

What is happening here?

As I went deeper into the depth of my mind, my perception of things changed. I disconnected to the point that the objects around me stopped being physical to be...

Simply lines.

No.

It is.

A.

Error.

No.

Are.

Lines.

Flicker.

Looking at them in more detail, they are more like movie tapes. Billions of motion pictures with different scenes. They all fly around me.

It's probably just my imagination playing a prank on me though. There is something in the back of my mind that tells me otherwise.

That part of me demands that I contradict everything I'm seeing. That I deny what I am living. But this is too real to think that there is any falsehood here.

Every cell in my body tries to tell me something through these thoughts. But I am unable to get the message perfectly.

I am Nicholas Hawk.

There are no reasons to doubt.

I belong here.
