Christina Hawk's Monologue and fraternal love. [Nicholas Hawk 3] [Interlude]

This is a recurring dream.

─Did you go crazy, Hawk?! Think of the consequences! You are the most important man in the whole world, risking everything for a simple irregularity is too much!

Why do you tell me that?

I know that I am in my body, I recognize the voice that comes out of my mouth but not the words that it says.

I have no idea who this man is, but I feel like I've known him for many years.

The man takes me by the collar of my shirt and threatens me with a gun to try to hold me back.

─I don't want to do it, Hawk! You're my best friend! I hate to have to see you in this pitiful way and I cannot allow the man who reached the pinnacle of known science to have such a stupid end!

He doesn't seem to be in his right mind. But his words seem to attack me with logic as I go and take something out of my pocket.

It is a small figure no bigger than a sugar cube in my right hand. In my memories, my eyes got a little teary and I couldn't help but feel like I'm actually apologizing.

The man in the lab coat looks at the object in my hand and then backs away. Dropping the weapon.

He turns away from me in fear, I can see in his eyes the intimidation that he feels just because I took out such an object.

It looks like... a dice...

I do not recognize the object. I don't think I've seen it before so far so why is it in my dreams?

─Hawk, stop that... I beg you. I have a family to feed, if you use the dice, you will destroy this line of the universe together with you! Do not do it!

Too late. When the man begged me not to let him drop the die from my hand, he had long since dropped it. The die struck the laboratory floor. Four. Times.

From the impact, the die jumped those four times before beginning to spin on its own on the ground. I watched the die land on one of its faces. There was no number on those faces, when the surface of the die gave its verdict, the letter [Alpha] of the Greek appeared on that face.

It is at that point in the dream, when I wake up.
