0.4 Fatal love (Wilbur Soot)

One boy.

One girl.

One sword.

One manipulator.

One is in love with the other.

Who makes it out alive?

Who makes it out dead?

Y/n, the towns biggest softie.

Wilbur, the towns most wanted killer.

"I love you Y/n" the man whispers, while stepping towards her and taking her hand. They we're outside, it was raining and he was planing on dancing with her.

"I love you too Wilbur" she giggles, while taking the man's hand. She trusted him, and that's what he wanted. Was for him to trust her. They both smiles as the man spun her in a circle, and pulled her closer to him. Holding her small body against his. He started spinning them together, while the rain poured down onto them. Soaking both of their bodies.

The man kept dancing with the woman, she was in love with him. She thought he was in love with her, while he wasn't. He had a plan, he was going to kill her. She didn't know it, nobody knew it. Just him. He had planned it since the day he met her. He didn't like her, he heard bad stories about her, even if they were rumours he still hadn't grown to like her. He stayed up for countless nights thinking of a plan to get rid of her. Until he came up with he perfect solution. Kill her. Which is what he was going to do that very night.

They stopped dancing and the girl was smiling bigger than ever, she had no idea what was about to happen. The man pulled her in and kissed her softly. She didn't want it to stop, but he did. About a minute had passed, and he pulled back. She turned around, and he got ready to take a strike, until a young boy came running around the corner. Neither of the two had any idea who that kid was. The girl didn't know that kid, if he just stayed right there, would have saved her life.

The girl loved everyone, she was nice to everyone. Nobody hated her, except Wilbur.

The small little boy had gone away, Wilbur checked around making sure nobody was there except them. When he made sure they were clear. He pulled out his netherite sword, he held it behind his back and snuck up behind the girl. She had her back facing him, she was smiling and giggling. She felt free, free of everything, free of all worries. She didn't know what he was going to do.

She turned around and faced the man in front of her. She looked to his side and saw his sword, her eyes widened when she realized what he was going to do. She turned to run, until the man grabbed hand; preventing her from going anywhere.

"What the fuck!" She yelled, she tried to scream for help, but the man raised the sword up to her throat, piercing her skin ever so slightly. Blood trickled down her neck, down to the ground. He watched with a smile, and looked back up at her. He saw fear in her eyes. That's what he was hungry for. Fear. She was scared, and he was happy.

She told him to stop, and she started crying, causing him to push harder until she slipped onto the ground. She sat, un able to move. Shocked that her lover had turned on her so quickly, she was so confused. The man stepped forwards, even closer to the woman on the ground. He pulled her up and pushed her into a nearby wall, raising the sword. She cried harder, once again, begging for him to stop.

"Please...." Was her last word. He stabbed her in the stomach, not removing the sword. She collapsed to the ground, blood pouring everywhere, causing a river of red to sink down the pathway.

The man was happy. But at the same time, his smile had faded, he was now the one filled with fear. He backed up, ashamed at what he had done. Mad that he had done it, but he was so happy he got rid of her. Why was he so sad? Why did he regret it?

He fell for her. That's why. He hadn't realized it, but he was happier with her, grumpy without her. He was so blinded with the fact he wanted her gone, that he hadn't realized he truly did love her. And now she was gone, and it was his fault. And he was stuck with the gilt, that he killed her.
