CHAPTER SEVEN

We arrived at our store early. Some vendors were busy entertaining others to buy their products. Those were vegetables, fruits, and some meat and foods that we all need in our daily life.

As time pass by, the market becomes more crowded and they were lots of students now roaming around. Maybe there were all here because they want to buy some fresh fruits and vegetables to eat.

I must say, our store had very fresh fruits and vegetables to eat. Aside from having a farm that is full of veggies and some things that we all need for ingredients.

We harvest our plants every July. That's more early than other farmers who harvest their plants in October.

They say, the more you took a long break from harvesting all the plants that you planted on your farm. It will be drier and it might have some worms inside of it caused by a late harvest.

"Heart, can you do this all? I just need to deliver these veggies to the next store." My sister asks me a favor, I just nodded and let her do what she needed to do.

I wrapped those fruits for safety and to avoid rats eating those and some of them were already wrapped. So it's not that hard for me to wrap the other fruits that she left for me, yet it won't be a hassle for me.

My mind is preoccupied thinking about what just happened last night. I couldn't believe a hot young man send me home without bruise and fear, he kept the promise he said.

That man was a very gentleman and he knows how to give privacy to other girls. Even if he already had the chance to do everything he wanted. He didn't do anything and just drive safely and didn't even talk a lot about me.

He's good to befriend because of his generosity and kindness. Even if no one will say that he's a rich man and maybe the son of one of a billionaire in the world. I can still sense his richness not because I was aiming to be one, but because of his circle of friends.

It's funny how I didn't even get the chance to ask his name and say thank you for sending me home safely. What I did is walk out and run as fast as I could, I even thought of him being a rapist and a playboy.

Little did I know that his a good man who knows how to respect everyone's privacy. Do not ever bother them if they don't ask you to talk to them. I like how his mindset is. He chooses to be quiet instead of talking about a lot of different topics that won't relate to me much.

He even declined the food I offered to him but I insist on giving it to him because I know our house is way far from the city. Luckily, he was in there paying for his wrongdoing but it wasn't a big deal to me.

I know he didn't intentionally do it because he thought no one was in the sideway walking. After my exams, I just saw him standing in the middle of the field looking at the sky like the heat isn't visible to him.

It took an hour before my sister went back to our store with a basket of fresh fruits and veggies. This is the simple life we all live, thriving like this is way fun and good for us.

As long as we have a small store and could still have money to earn before the school year started. Praying that my answers in the exams could be all correct and may god help me to pass the entrance exams.

"Moira, I'll just go out. Let me find some food for our lunch, I'm a bit hungry and my stomach can't wait till we got finished." I asked her permission for me to go out and find some food for our lunch.

Mom is still on the farm, we both thought they would be here at any moment but they were not yet here. So we were forced to deal with the brat costumers and some overreacting customers we had each day.

When I was about to go out on the stoor. Someone showed up in front of our store and when our eyes met, everything that surrounds me suddenly stop for a bit.

Our eyes met and a wide smile plastered on his face as he bows his head for respect. I couldn't speak nor pushed im away from our store and just let him buy from the other store.

The nerve of this guy!

I didn't even tell him how my life is, and didn't even tell him that we sell veggies and fruits in the market. All I said to him is send me home and that's all, nothing else I could remember that I told him about.

My left brow raised as I went closer to him. He just furiously fighting the looks I have and showing him right now.

"The hell are you doing in this kind of place," Asked in shock.

"I came here to buy some vegetables and some fruits," He smiled and I know it was all a lie.

He is not in here just to buy groceries for the whole month. He's in here because....because maybe he wanted to... Argh! Alright, whatever his reason is!

"There," I pointed to the next store next to us. "They all have the vegetables and fruits that you need," Continued to utter.

"Heart! what are you doing? he's a customer why are you pointing him to the other store, when he's already in our store." There, my older sister scolded me for throwing this man into the other store.

The boy smiled and nodded his head as he agreed with my sister's words. This man is giving me a headache, for christ's sake.

"Alright! what do you need. Pick all the veggies, fruits that you need and give them to me so I could count all of them." I muttered and let him roam around in our store looking for his needs.
