The Kralovia Kingdom under the current rule of King Henrich II, is located at the center of the Urania Continent. Its Northern borders reach the Durks's channel, the Western borders the river that separates it from the group of feudal lands called Gaulian Domain. The kingdom's southern borders is shared with two other kingdoms, the Tezzaro and the Otreya. While the Pontus mountain range serves as it's Eastern border. The Severo Empire is in the North East of Kralovia, only accessible by the channel in the north, and the Pontus central valley in the east.

King Henrich II, is a well built man having long platinum hair and a handsome face, an appearance that hides his Mad personality. He killed all his Uncles, brothers, and nephews who went against him in order to solidify his position as king.

He is a great swordsman, which made the whole continent call him a sword saint, and no one has dared refute that because it is true. His greatest weakness is ruling, in all honesty, he never cared about ruling except during war, increasing taxes to budget his campaigns. The King never bothered what the other nobles are doing within their territories. He left them be as long as they leave him be, but he do appreciate rebellions because it gives him the right to brandish his sword and he personally find it satisfying to be the one chopping their heads off.

Henrich II believes that it is only in conflict that he could master the sword. His mind is only filled with the desire to parry blades with a strong swordsman, but not finding anyone to fight with, he decided to personally train his sons and daughters to be swordsmen who could one day challenge him, some died, while some lost parts of their body. The consorts pleaded to not have all the children to be trained, Henrich II decided to only take one from each consort, and the one whose child would show great promise will be the crown prince, and the consort would be elevated as the kingdom's queen. Evander was that child, but he challenged his father too early, losing his eyes and being exiled to a far off land. Henrich allowed him to keep his position as crown prince, as if to say that Evander is still the one he believes as worthy of it, or it might be just a bout of madness.

About the nobles they are all just waiting for the King to die so that they can finally be free from his militaristic rule, as the nobles weren't allowed to have their own personal armies they feel strangled of the fact that they can't make a move to increase their territory. If they did even try to enlist people in order to make one, the King seems to know about it, and he allows them to do so only to be played with in the battlefield and have their families executed by the King himself.

When the Nobles heard about Evander challenging the King, they felt disappointed that he wasn't able to kill his father. Evander's siblings and step siblings also felt it was such a shame, as he seems to be the best amongst them. Now that he's gone the consorts began scheming on whose child would become the next crown prince, what they didn't know is that the King has not taken away Evander's title.

The citizens of Kralovia keep to themselves, they have no qualms whoever is in the throne, when death knocks on their doors they open it with hospitality. The suffering they experience, the ignorance of their ways, is the same even before King Henrich's rule. The few who desire to have better lives, escape the country by crossing the Kralovia borders towards the art and trade cities of Otreya, or cross the Durk channel to the peaceful and neutral nations of Galen Island.

The village of Elyjia is located in the Aleksis County ruled by Count Belia, in the remote north western most corner of the Severo Empire. The count's land is surrounded by the Pontus mountains on the south, the Bergen-fjord which cut the county from its northern mountains, and the ragged cliff beaches that face the Durk channel. The only way to reach the County is by crossing the Bel-Sev lake that serves as catchment basin when ice from the Pontus Mountain range and the Severo Northern mountain range melts during spring. The Bergen-Fjord connect the Durk channel and the Bel-Sev lake.

Elyja is a fjord village found at the north of Aleksis, only accessible by boats sailing through the Bergen-fjord, as it is being sandwiched between the fjord and the Severo Northern mountain range, that provide good grazing pastures for sheep. The village's main product would be lumber and sheep wool which are traded via long boats to the nearby towns in Bel-Sev lake. Because of its far-off and quite hidden location, a small abbey was built in the village, which is currently managed by Father Luis. It became a go to place where orphans and bastard or problematic children are thrown. But because of their increasing number the priest had to scour for donations all over the continent just to build a big enough orphanage to house these children. Other than donations, the priest also hunts for pelts in the forest along the Bergen fjord which he trades in the nearby towns, the money is also used to buy food and supplies for the abbey. Those who grew up from the orphanage and has left, from time to time also send some funding, a sign of gratitude for giving them a place to stay.

Father Luis met Evander, during his monthly visit in the church near the Pontus Valley. The boy was being carried behind in a horse-drawn wagon surrounded by men in dark robes, they had a meeting with the church's priest who then called for Father Luis, who was there just to ask for donations. The priest of Pontus explained to the men that Luis is the priest who lives in the Severo Empire and manages the Elyja orphanage, thus passing the baton of taking Evander off his hands. Looking at the state Evander was in, Father Luis decided to take the boy, and the group of men left after giving him a small bag of silver coins. The priest of Elyja gave half of the money to the priest of Pontus, to allow them to stay for a bit in his church so that he can operate on Evander's eyes as it was not properly removed causing serious infection. They stayed in the Pontus church for about a week.

The journey towards the village fjord took about a month. By the time they reached the small abbey, snow has began to fall, and Evander is finally in exile.
