Shiva searched all the corners of his cabin. He searched everywhere he could but he still couldn't find the file. He rang the bell in his office to call the peon. The peon came inside and was shocked after seeing the condition of the cabin. All the files were scattered here and there. Papers were lying out of the files. Shiva was sitting there and was looking for something. Peon looked at Shiva's face that was searching for something
"Sir, do you need something??"
The peon asked as he took some files and arranged them in order. Shiva lifted his head to see him. Tension was on his face. His eyebrows were stretched furrowed in tension.
"Who came into my office after me?"
He asked in a suspecting tone.
"Sir, no one other than the cleaner. What happened, sir? Is something missing?"
Peon asked as he saw the tensed look on Shiva's face.
"Are you sure?"
Shiva asked strictly.
"Yes sir"
He replied standing straight.
"Okay now helps me clean this mess."
Shiva said as he took the files in his hands.
"Sure sir."
Peon replied as he joined him to clean the office.
After one hour they cleared all the mess. Shiva reached home and got fresh. He was still thinking about the file.
"Where could it go? Did someone deliberately steal that file? But why? Is there someone who does not want me to uncover the truth? But who could that be?"
He sat on the sofa and was thinking about Sneha and her case.
Then his eyes fell on the photo frame kept on the table. It was a picture collage of the moments of Riya and Shiva. He smiled then he remembered that he promised Riya to call her back when he gets free. He picked up the phone and called her.
Riya picked up the phone. A melodious squeaked
"So you are back at home now?"
Riya asked
"Yup, I reached home. Got fresh and then called you."
Shiva replied.
"So you didn't have your dinner till now?"
Riya asked him in a worried voice
"No, not till now. I'll cook noodles after a while?"
He answered.
"Okay, I have also not prepared anything. Let's cook together."
Riya said excitedly.
"But how?"
He said giving a confused reaction.
"Oh, you cook in your kitchen and I will cook in mine."
She said chuckling.
Shiva smiled at her.
They both went to the kitchen and cooked together. Both of them were singing and picking on each other.
"Hey, do you remember our college days when Sneha and Dev both use to skip class only to eat these noodles?"
Riya asked Shiva as she closed the lid of the bowl to let the noodles boil.
"Yup, Dev use to eat simple noodles while Sneha always ate spicy noodles. For this Dev used to scold her also. But she never listened to him. Those days were full of enjoyment."
Then Shiva went into the flashback. And he smiled as he thought of the days spent with Sneha.
"Hey where are you lost?"
Riya's voice interrupted. He came back from the flashback.
"Nothing, I just remembered the days I spent with you all."
Shiva replied.
"Days spent with us?"
Riya replied shockingly. But she was also happy from inside.
"So my noodles are ready. Do you want to taste my dear Sneha?"
Suddenly realized that he took the wrong name. It was not Sneha. It was Riya.
"It's me, Riya not Sneha."
Riya replied as her face dropped a bit. An awkward silence filled between them.
