Beautiful morning

It was morning. Sun was rising. Birds were chirping on the window. Shiva woke up with the chirping of birds. His face was glowing.

He went to the balcony and saw the birds.

"Good morning birdy"

He said watching the birds and they flew away.

"What the ... I just wished you and you flew away. Am I a giant for you?"

He said to birds and made a pouted face as if the birds will understand him.

He went inside the room and collected the newspaper. He sat on the chair for reading the paper but then someone rang the doorbell.

"Who's there in the early morning? "

He said as he opened the door. A woman was standing there. She wore a saree that was of light blue-colour. Her age must be around 30-35.

"Sir, are you A.C.P. Shiva Chawan?"

The woman asked looking at Shiva.

"Yes, what's the matter?"

Shiva replied.

"Sir I am your new maid provided by your department?"

The lady said as she stood straight.

"Okay, you can carry on with your work."

Shiva said letting the lady come inside the house.

He went inside his room. His eyes fell on the wall clock.

"Oh, it's seven have to get ready fast."

In half an hour he got ready. He went to the kitchen and prepared breakfast for himself. He took his phone and called Riya. Riya was still sleeping. She crawled her hands towards the phone and picked up the call without even looking at it.

"Hello, who's calling this early in the morning?"

Riya said in a sleepy voice. Shiva was on the video call.

"Hey, lazy piggy bank. Wake up and open your eyes. Keep your phone in front of your face, not on your ear."

He said laughing at her.

"What? No. its early morning .why did you call me to let me sleep more"

She said keeping the phone in front of her face as she rubbed her eyes and yawned. She was looking like a baby. Her messy hair was looking like a bird's nest. Her skin was glowing. She was looking adorable. Unconsciously Shiva was admiring her beauty.

"Hey, wake up; it's quarter to eight... You have to go to the office also to complete your transfer formalities. Lazy pig."

Shiva said in a loud voice.

"Oh no, I am late I have to get ready."

Riya said jumping from the bed as she got her head bumped with the almirah. All her sleepiness faded as she looked at the clock. Shiva started laughing.

"Hey, Dumbo don't laugh. It's hurting already and your laugh is making me angrier."

Riya said angrily.

"Okay I will not"

He said controlling his laugh and suddenly burst with a laugh.

He was looking cute. Riya had never seen him as happy as he was today. She was happy to see him happy. The maid who was working in another room came to the kitchen and asked

"Sir, why are you laughing this much?"

"No nothing it's just…"

Siva was speaking but Riya interrupted.

"Hey who's there? It's a lady's voice. Why is there a lady is in your home? Are you dating someone? It's your second day and you are dating. And you are even living with her? Don't you even bother to tell me?"

Riya started questioning.

"Hey stop questioning. You speak lots of shit together. Stop it"

Shiva said in a bit loud voice.

"I am talking to my friend. Sorry for the inconvenience."

He said to the maid directing her to leave.

"What the hell. Sorry for the inconvenience. Seriously?"

Riya said angrily.

"Shut your shitty mouth up. Dead cells are coming out of it. She's a maid arranged by my department. "

Shiva told Riya with an annoyed face.

"Oh sorry, I thought that….I am sorry."

Riya stammered as she spoke in a low voice.

"It's okay. But rest assure whenever I make any girlfriend you will be the first one to be informed. There will be no secret between us."

Shiva said assuring Riya

Riya smiled.

"Okay, I gotta go. I have to get ready. B-bye"

Saying this she hung up the phone
