CHAPTER 3

Jesse arrives at school the next day with Nancy, in Nancy's blue mini cooper, As they come out of the parking lot "Hey Jesse this is going to be your first party of your life, to make it more memorable we need to find the perfect dress! Lets go shopping after school" Nancy exclaims, " You do realize that my family owns a boutique too right, I can get something from there, there's no need of a shopping spree" Jesse laughs as she starts walking towards the school building "But where's the fun in that? please let's go, moonbucks on me" Nancy pouts as they enter the building "Alright ,alright let's go, and anyway how can I ever say no to moonbucks" Jesse tells while going towards her locker to keep her belongings and take the material for the first class.

"Alright see you after school" Nancy waves and blows a kiss towards Jesse before disappears in the crowd.

Jesse chuckles shaking her head. Her bestfriend was crazy but she wouldn't have it any other way , they had first met in third grade when Nancy's family had moved in their town. Nancy was the new girl who everyone wanted to be friends with, but she chose to sit with the quiet Jesse. And ever since they had been bestfriends, their parents treated them as their own kids. Nancy was the only one who knew about Jesse's crush on Adrian and what went wrong with them.

After school the girls meet at the parking lot "Let's go to the Oasis Mall I heard there's a sale going on, we will surely find a dress there for you" tells a beaming Nancy, "Okay, okay stop smiling so much people would think you have won lottery or something" Jesse tells shoulder bumping Nancy, "Of course You never agree to come shopping with me so easily, it takes at least three days business days for you to agree" Nancy points out frowning. "Okay lets go before I change my mind" Jesse snorts.

They drive off towards the mall vibing to their favourite songs. Unaware of the prying eyes that seem to follow them.

At the mall Nancy drags Jesse around to almost all the shops before something catches Nancy's eyes

"That's the one Jesse, it's practically calling your name ,you just can not have it" Nancy yells pointing at a sapphire green ,knee length dress with decent neckline. "Hmm not bad I'll try it " Jesse hums her approval, and goes on to try the dress. The saleslady helps Jesse with her dress, Jesse comes out of the trial room to get Nancy's approval when she is met by a screaming Nancy " wow!!yes I knew it, this dress was made for you " Nancy tells jumping , Jesse could tell that the dress looked good on her , the sapphire green bought more attention to her eyes, and the dress looked sexy yet cute on her.

After paying for the dress and getting their drinks from moonbucks, they head home.
