Demons of the fog

The embrace of a mother, full of love and care for her son. All of that was warming the heart of Hordward whose eyes were shut tight as he held his mother like he never would again... 


A crack of a branch made him aware of the presence of someone else. But only his ears reacted to the sound. His whole body, still indulged in the hug. 


A pat on his head made him pull back a little as he rose his head a bit. His mother was smiling and rubbed his cheek gently. With his paw he held hers and closed his eyes again, tears falling one last time beforz saying "I miss you mom". 


The lady's eyes looked at him with so much care that for a moment, time seemed frozen. She then looked in the direction of Ingus and Vardus before smiling. 


Then she looked back at Hordward and slowly faded into sky blue butterflies flying away before vanishing. Hordward kept looking in the direction the butterflies disappeared for a minute before sighing while getting up.
