EPISODE 1:ONE NIGHT

11 am, one sluggish morning in a very strange room.

After partying and drinking a little too much at the bar last night, Adelaine woke up in a white, soft bed. She feels weak, suppressing a grievous headache. Finally coming to her senses, she forced open her eyes. A shining chandelier hanging from the ceiling widened her eyes.

As Adelaine struggled to think, she looked around into the strange room while sitting in the bed. As soon as she looked down on the floor, she could see the dress she was wearing last night. As she slowly lost her sanity, she lifted her blanket and peeked at the clothes she was currently wearing.

"What the heck?!" she shouted in a whisper, holding back her shock - trying not to make a sound after seeing herself wearing an oversized white shirt without any trousers. She quickly stood up out from the bed. She found a mirror and went to it to see herself.

Seeing her face full of messy makeup and her hair looking like she got into a fight, she grabbed the wet wipes from her bag and forcefully cleaned her face while trying to fix her hair.

As she tried to make herself look pleasant, processing everything in her mind, she heard a noise coming from the door beside her. She carefully walked towards the door, leaned her right ear onto the door as her hand was holding the doorknob.

"Is this a shower room?" she asked herself and continued listening to the sound. She then realized that it was the noise of a shower.

Suddenly, the noise stopped, the door opened. Out of confusion and shock, Adelaine could not move an inch.

"What? You're awake?" she raised her head after hearing a manly voice. As she raised her head, she saw a tall and muscular guy covered his half body with a white towel, standing in front of her. Her eyes widen as she saw him, but she can't move any part of her body.

The guy stood up in front of her for almost three seconds.

"Move. You're blocking the way." the guy said and pushed Adelaine out of the way.

Adelaine was drawn to him and kept staring at the guy as he dries his hair with a towel. The guy then looked back at her and asked, "What are you looking at?"

She gulped and exhaled heavily. She walked slowly and stood in front of the bed.

"Who...are you?" she asked out of the blue. The guy didn't answer and suddenly looked at her from head to toe while walking towards the bed. He then sat on the bed, watching Adelaine's confused face.

"Shouldn't it be me asking that question to you?" The guy asked and crossed his legs.

She couldn't think of anything but to desperately know about last night. Suddenly, an idea came to her mind. Taking one step forward, she introduced herself assuming that he will tell her immediately how she ended up in this room with him. Little did she know that introducing herself is a wrong move and will be her first mistake today.

"I'm Adelaine Reyes. Addy for short, and who is this scumbag I'm talking to right now?" she asked with an annoyed voice.

The guy suddenly smirked that made Adelaine more curious and suspicious.

"It's best for you not to know who I am." the guy answered with a cold smile. Feeling uneasy with the guy's answers, she became fidgety in front of the guy, thinking about last night. She couldn't bear her curiosity and suddenly sat in the bed beside the guy and looked straight into his eyes.

"Tell me about last night. Every. Detail." Adelaine said, emphasizing each word. The guy stared at her and didn't say a word. She wasn't bothered about her face being too close to him at first. But suddenly, the guy moved his face near her that she can already feel his breathing.

As he came closer to her, she could see his brown eyes, long eyelashes and as she looked on his side, she could see his perfect jawline. Looking down, she saw his small, rose lips. She was more impressed with his broad shoulders. She knew that this guy has perfect physical looks and fits the character of a prince.

Instead of moving her face away from the guy, she slowly closed her eyes. She clenched her fists above her legs and stayed still for a minute - assuming of something peculiar, but nothing happened. She then opened her left eye to check on him, but the guy looked down and chuckled. After a while, the guy looked at her with his head down.

"You're cute." the guy said to her. Leaving her with mixed emotions, he stood up and went to the wardrobe.

"What did you say?!"

"Why did you do that?!"

"Why won't you answer me?!" she bombarded him with questions. He didn't shrug a bit to answer her and so she walked towards him. She aggressively held the guy's arm and made him face her. But suddenly, his towel was loose and fell on the ground.

"Don't look down." the guy said nervously. Adelaine had no idea what the guy was saying. "What?!" she shouted at him.

"J-just...don't look down." he stuttered nervously. But she became more curious. She lowered and pulled her eyebrows together, squinted her eyelids, wrinkled her nose, and looked down.

As soon as she looked down, she sternly held onto the guy's hand. He knew what Adelaine felt after that. The guy kneeled and picked up the towel. "At least I'm wearing my underwear now," She was surprised by what he said. Her curiosity grew bigger and bigger, having a lot of assumptions in her mind. "Did we do something last night?" "Just..tell me why I'm here. Why am I with you?" "What on earth happened last night?" she couldn't stop but ask so many questions.

"I already told you the reason why you're here with me." the guy answered while getting himself dressed.

"You're cute, that's why." he added. She still can't find the answer she's looking for. She grabbed her clothes and run off to the shower room.

"Mind if we eat breakfast first?" the guy asked when she was about to enter the shower room. She turned around and rolled her eyes at the guy. "In exchange, you tell me everything." she said and slam the door after she entered.

The two went to a coffee shop, ordered the food they crave, and ate their food sitting on one table.

"About last night..." Adelaine immediately gets to the point of why she joined the guy for breakfast.

"You drank too much alcohol last night. You were dancing like a worm in the middle of the bar." the guy answered while paying the bills.

"So, why am I with you?" she asked him. The guy didn't answer her, pulling out something from his pocket. He then answered, "I was walking silently, peacefully when you suddenly bumped into me, dragged my coat, and vomit." I was so mad at you that I grabbed your hair, but when I saw your face, my rage turned into happiness." he answered while smiling a little. He didn't smile in an obvious way, but Adelaine saw his dimples on both sides.

"I mean, Why. Am. I. With. You?" she asked again. She couldn't hear the answer that she wants and it made her ask the same question repeatedly. "That's not what you want to ask." the guy said with a serious face. He lends this black hanky to her.

"What's this?" she asked and took the hanky. She opened the hanky widely and saw a stain in the middle of it. She looked at him with a blank face. "Why don't you try to smell it? That's the stain of your vomit. Aren't you familiar with the smell of your vomit?" She didn't talk back and just folded the hanky and kept it in her pocket.

"Did you touch me last night?" the guy said. She was too shocked that it made her punched the table with her hand and stood, "Hey!" and shouted. The guy was startled- looking like a frozen guy. "Isn't that what you want to ask me?" the guy asked. "Try to be direct. Stop asking questions that you don't want to ask. I should be the one that's mad right now because of your questions, but I'm holding it back. And so you should, too." He added. Adelaine calmed herself down and slowly sat on her chair.

"I didn't touch you last night. I mean..." Adelaine was again curious that she straightened her back and inhaled deeply. "I mean, I did touch you. How did I bring you to my room if I didn't touch you, hold you, and carried you?" the guy added. Adelaine exhaled heavily as she was relieved about it. After hearing the answer she was looking for, she became even-minded and discreet.

The guy suddenly stood up. He put a piece of paper above the table. "Let's not meet again." Adelaine said as she knew that the guy would leave soon. He wasn't able to say a word to her before he left. She was again out of her mind, trying to think of a reason why he left immediately without saying a word. When she was about to leave, she saw the paper the guy left at the table and grabbed it.

"What the heck? What...What is this?" she seemed distraught after what she saw.

It wasn't just a paper. Her face while sleeping was imprinted on it. She flipped the paper and saw a note.

"I bet you're curious. Again. Sad to say, but you already told me that we should not meet again. If you have questions, feel free to call me."

There was also another note after the first, but she doesn't seem to know what it is. She thought it was just a random note.

There was a phone number written, and so she tried to call it. As the phone rings, her heart beats faster out of tension and fear.

"So...Miss Reyes." the guy was finally on the line.

"C-can you...explain to me this...this photo?" she said with a cracking voice. He didn't answer for a second.

"Hello?" So she checked if he's still on the line.

"I'm busy. Let's talk next time." he said with a deep voice.

"I guess we'll be meeting again. See you again at my room, Miss Reyes." he said and ended the call.

Adelaine can't stop thinking about the picture. Many things keep running into her mind.

Thinking of too many things after that one night, she headed to her dormitory.

"Hey! I was looking for you all day! Where have you been?" as soon as Adelaine opened the door, her friend immediately scold her and asked her countless questions.

"Why did you disappear last night?"

"Tell me what happened."

Adelaine can't answer even one question of her friend. She lied down on her bed and accidentally let go of the photo from her hands. Her friend picked it up from the ground.

"What the--Hey sis, shouldn't you at least explain to me? I deserve an explanation! I've been looking for you since last night, you jerk!"

"Stop nagging me! I have a lot in mind right now. I'll explain to you when it's all good. Why would you say you deserve an explanation when I can't even have the explanation I want to hear!" Adelaine answered. She grabbed her blanket and wrapped herself.

She could feel her tears trickling down her cheeks while lying in the bed. Her curiosity was big enough to make her think that it wasn't just one night. Those trouble in her mind made her thought that she was with the guy for almost a week. She even received a photo of herself asleep from the guy.

"I didn't even get to know his name." she said while sobbing uncontrollably. It was too obvious that she's crying because of her fading voice and a runny nose.

"You okay, mate?" her friend asked and sat on her bedside. She didn't answer. Her friend started tapping her shoulders, trying to comfort her.

Her friend started giving her wisdom talks, "Sis, you'll get nothing from crying. Crying would only make you feel a low-class girl. Whatever happened last night, I'm ready to--" she was cut off as Adelaine suddenly removed her blanket and immediately get up from the bed.

"Hey, Cassidy, do you mind if I use your phone?" and asked her friend with her pleasing eyes. Her friend can't stand seeing her so worried, so she let her use it. "Yeah, sure."

After she lends her phone to her, Adelaine grabbed the photo out of Cassidy's hands and flipped the photo upside down.

"Why? What is it?" Cassidy asked her, trying to know what's going on.

"Think about it, I didn't get to know his identity and I didn't even saw his room number." She said looking like a desperate person. Cassidy tried to process everything on her mind, but still, she can't solve the puzzle. Adelaine knew that Cassidy can't understand a thing right now which made her sighed and rolled her eyes. She went to her study table and told Cassidy to follow her and listen to her.

"Listen to what I'm about to say."

"Yeah, I'm all ears."

Adelaine pointed out the note she saw earlier which she thought was just a random note. "What's that?" Cassidy asked. "This is the key." she answered. "Look, there are letters and numbers. I think this is some kind of a shuffled game. I just need to rearrange it and then I'll be able to know who that guy is." she added.

"Now, are you willing to help me?" she asked.

"Yeah, sure. I broke up with my man earlier, so I have no date scheduled today." Cassidy answered and sat beside Adelaine.

2tNn00oo44Cvas0rr1i was the note written after the guy's message in the paper.

The two tried to solve the shuffled note desperately. After giving out their best, Cassidy solved it.

"Got it!" she shouted. Adelaine grabbed the paper and saw Cassidy's work.

"Travis Connor. 04-14-2000" Adelaine whispered.

"Is this his name and room number?" She asked. Cassidy nodded, still wearing her smile after solving it. Adelaine hit her head. "Room numbers have 1-4 digits only. Are you crazy?" Cassidy scratched her neck and looked down as her smile started to fade away.

"But I think that's his name..." Cassidy said. Adelaine didn't show any reaction and didn't answer her. Cassidy seemed disappointed and sad. She willingly helped her and give her best, yet she just got her head hit by her friend.

"I'm going to the library today. Hope you can solve that as soon as possible." Cassidy stood up and grabbed her coat.

"Hey, girl. I'm sorry." Adelaine said as Cassidy was about to leave the room.

"It's okay. Go get some rest." Cassidy forcedly smiled at her and left.

Night has come, and still, Adelaine can't think properly. She still can't get rid of her perplexity.

She suddenly thought of Cassidy's answer. She opened her social media account and tried to search the name that Cassidy solved from the code.

Search "Travis Connor"

She found nothing. After all the work and stress, she felt tired and decided to call it a day.

*phone vibrates*

Her vibrating phone woke her up.

"What?! It's already 9 am?!" she shouted after checking the time on her phone.

She grabbed her towel and was about to go to the bathroom when her phone suddenly beeped. She checked it and saw that there's one new message request on her Startagram account.

She clicked the notification and saw the message.

"You tried to look for my account last night, didn't you?"
