Chapter 37 - Mysterious Shadow gods (2)

"Quick! Release the Sky Covering can-!" One of the men was cut of as his body was cut cleanly in half.

The terrorist in charge of guarding the hostages were all at least in the King User Domain with their leader in the Prime User Domain. So how could a man cut them in two without them noticing? This was the speed and power of the shadow assassins, they had the ability to insta-kill any opponent! which is why they are feared and revered by nations, even the emperors of the six continents would have to be careful around them.

The Leader of the group eyes widened to it's limit as he managed to be the only one to see his subordinate's body get split in two. The rest of the terrorists were all motionless under the speed of Kim jae-sung, they couldn't even feel him leave his spot. in fact, it was like time had stopped under his speed.

The leader of the terrorists in charge of guarding the hostages was the one with the sky covering Canon. A weapon that requires user energy of a thousand experts to charge up its blast and these experts were all at least in the King User Domain.

This was one of the trump cards ling tian put in place for his plans to work, he wanted the guardian and the United Allied Forces to succumb to his terms of release and since it had gotten to this, he set up the canon in the area close to the hostages.

Logically speaking, if the Power of a thousand kings(Note:Users in the King User Domain, I will be using this more often so please take note) were in front of a Prime Domain user, their power would be like an ant compared to a mountain, the difference would be as vast as heaven and earth, Kings challenging Prime Users is unread of. Their power put together cannot amount to a threat. but The Sky Covering Canon possesses the power to destroy a country or even a continent depending on how Potent the User energy infused was. (Meaning that if the Kings were in the S-tier of the domain then the power of the Canon would be more powerful than the ones in the A - tier and below).

The Canon would instantly fire once it is activated, it doesn't take time to charge up, that is one of it's attributes as a weapon. Such power released at once would undoubtedly harm the hostages even if it doesn't harm the Members of the United Allied Forces. So, even if the guardian was to be here, they still won't be afraid of his power because from what everyone knew about, the United Allied Forces would never do anything to put the innocent in harms way. Which means that they could still reverse their situation! However. ...

The already quick attack from Kim jae-sung grew quicker and at a fraction of a milli second(Note: I said speed in the verse would be ridiculous from the beginning) appeared behind the men.

The Leader of the group was about to activate the sky covering Canon when he was sliced midway

Blood sprayed out of this formidable group of King users, their bodies and power that was enough to look down upon the world was nothing but paper before the Mysterious shadow god

Heads flew in the air, arms and legs scattered as their body parts were sliced cleanly by Kim jae-sung's flaming dagger.

Bang! Bang! bang!

The bodies of the thirty guards fell on the ground one after the other. Their eyes wide open as they didn't even know how they had left this world. The slaughter was so quick that they didn't even conjure any protection of User energy. All they could see for the final time of their life was the death of the bulky man.

Kim jae-sung did not have any look of joy as he de materialised the Flaming daggers in his hands. He didn't even turn to look at the corpse of the terrorists behind him.

He looked forward and saw a man standing with a sword before him. The man has black hair, black eyes and a light blue clothes different from the other terrorists and from his user energy, he was also far weaker than the terrorists at the Sea User domain. He had a look of fear on his face as Kim jae-sung's gaze fell upon him.

"D.......don't come any closer!" The man said as he opened the jacket he was clearing showing a bomb tied around his waist to Kim jae-sung. Though, he tried to sound bold he was visibly shaken. His hands vibrated as he tried to hold unto his sword with both hands. The sword was Rebirth blade. One of the recent inventions that allowed humans infuse User energy into the hilt, forming a blade of energy.

Kim jae-sung looked at him without any hint of fear. His cold gaze enveloping the man as he said"Is that a rebirth blade and grand dessimation bomb?.....Heh....Such toys can't be anything to me but you don't seem like one who could trigger it though"

Whoosh!

Just as his voice fell he had already snatched the blade from the man's hands and even removed the bomb. Throwing it far into the air

Boom!

The bomb exploded as it reached one thousand metres into the sky

The man's eyes widened as he noticed Kim jae-sung beside him holding his own blade in his hands

Bam!

The man sat heavily on the ground due to shock from the sudden appearance of Kim jae-sung.

"So you were saying?" A sinister smile appeared on Kim jae-sung's face as he infused his User energy into the the hilt creating a blade.

"W.......wait! I'm not one of them I swear" the man suddenly shouted in fear

Kim jae-sung: "Huh"

"Hear me out, I am a doctor from the village. The terrorists captured my family and threatened to kill them if I don't help them in their plans. I had to help them because I didn't want my wife and newly born son to die" the man spoke as tears began to roll off his eyes

"Is that so?" Kim jae-sung asked. Although he couldn't sense any sinister intent from the man, he still had to be careful.

"Yes I know this doesn't mean much but I swear on my life!" The man shouted in determination

"Alright"

Swish!

Water manifested around Kim jae-sung's hand. he used it to form a chain made of water around the man binding him and restraining his movements. The man couldn't resist, even if he tried to, how could the strength of a Mysterious shadow god be simple?

"I don't feel any ill intent from you, but I have to do this just to make sure. Once the battle ends and we verify what you said, you are free but..." his voice becoming grim "if you lied then that would be your end"

The man only nodded his head which was covered in cold sweat but his eyes didn't waver once.

"Good" Kim jae-sung said in a playful manner as he stood up from before the man.

He continued walking forward till he came to a cave. The Cave has an Iron gate covering it. Looking inside Kim jae-sung could see people curled up in different manner, lying about in the cave.

They all turned to look at the person who had come there to see them.

"You scum will never get away with this! The guardian will save us and when he does you shall pay back for making us suffer!" The voice of an old man echoed from within the cave.
