"When she kisses me, it feels like my world stops revolving.", she froze after hearing those words from her husband.


"Ruomei, why did you write this? Clearly, you wrote this song before the wedding so what makes you think we'll like kissing each other?", Meixiu thumped her chest because of the sudden change she felt on her heartbeat. She remembered their first and only kiss with the lyrics he just sang and the way he low key slipped a smile from his lips.

Meixiu heard those words but she was stuck right there, she can't resist the charm of this man in front of her. She was shocked when Chaoxiang pulled her from her waist and tucked her closer to his body, her hands landed on her chest.


"You have to kiss me lady, it's a custom.", he said.


He drew his face closer, lowering his back to reach her height. She met her leading man halfway and locked her lips on his. His lips are making hers partly opened as he slipped his lower lip inside her mouth. Her heart's beating so fast. "Stop it already Chaoxiang or I'll die having no oxygen!", Meixiu thought.


From her upper lip, he then ravished her lower lip. Meixiu was too nervous, she never kissed someone before. That's why she poked Chaoxiang's stomach with her index because according to his interview, it's his most ticklish part, hoping he will stop the kiss after but what he did shocked her. He bit his lower lip and after tasting her blood, he left her standing there.

"Are you that whipped for Chaoxiang?", she snapped out after hearing Lein.


"Why? What?"


"Give me your letter now, I'll give it to him at the back stage."


"Oh I'm sorry. Here it is.", she handed the box she made throughout the night.


"I'll go with the crowd so Chaoxiang will not see me.", Meixiu said and walked away.

"Hey, I prepared you some soup my dear sister in-law. Liwei and I prepared this for you.", Ruomei placed the hot chicken soup on Meixiu's office desk. 


"Oh thank you so much.", she said and had a sip. 


"It's been a day since you got sick. How is it like sleeping alone?" 


"Are you missing my bro?", she asked and the top fan started blushing. 


"Hey Ruomei, can I ask how Liwei and you enjoy your company?" 


Ruomei's confused face showed up against Meixiu. 


"Liwei's boring because of his doctor vibes but he wants to try things out so he follows my command because I'm so in the moment. Find a common ground. The both of you like music right?", Meixiu nodded. 


"You even made him a song right?", Ruomei heard Meixiu coughed. 


"I don't want to go that low.", the both of them laughed. 


"I saw your neck's bruised yesterday. What happened?", Ruomei asked. 


"Don't tell me, you're planning to kill yourself again?" 


"No, I told you I'm already over depression. I let go of my real family and somehow it made me happy.", she smiled, not her genuine one but it's enough for Ruomei to feel she's fine. 


"My brother has his interview now. Turn the TV on.", Ruomei grabbed the remote from Meixiu's desk and turned the tv on. 


"I know you're watching his interviews. Get some information about him there and try to learn those things. Do it with him.", Ruomei said before her eyes widened and she looked at Meixiu, she's shocked too. 


"Is he having an interview with Suyin? How dare he?", Ruomei exclaimed. 


They opened the TV about 10 minutes late than the timeslot of Suyin's show. 


"No way bro! You go home now!", Ruomei is about to dial Chaoxiang's number but Meixiu stopped her. 


"So are you single, are you dating someone or are you married?", Suyin asked. 


"I hate you bro!", Ruomei can't stay on her seat due to anger. 


Meixiu is just seating on her chair. "I know he'll deny me, but why does it hurt like this? Knowing that she's in front of his ex. Did Suyin know we're married?", she is keeping herself busy by cracking her fingers. 


"Is there someone who makes you smile right now, at this very time?" 


"That girl is a flirt! Suyin, you dirty gamer!", Ruomei gritted her teeth. 


"I am happy reconnecting with someone right now." 


Meixiu heard her sister chuckled, the same chuckle Meixiu sounded after Chaoxiang kissed her. "They seem so happy with each other's company.", she said to herself. 


"Ruomei, I forgot. It's almost noontime. I still have a lunch meeting with a business client." 


"Are you leaving?", Ruomei turned the TV off. 


"I have to. I'll see you some other time.", she said and planned to leave her office. 


"Zhao Meixiu.", Ruomei called her by that surname again. 


"Yes?", she smiled looking back at her. 


"No. It's a part of his job. I'll be leaving.", she waved her hand and pulled her door to open. 


"Poor Little Meixiu. I really hope she's fine.", Ruomei frowned.
