"When she kisses me, it feels like my world stops revolving.", she froze after hearing those words from her husband.


"Ruomei, why did you write this? Clearly, you wrote this song before the wedding so what makes you think we'll like kissing each other?", Meixiu thumped her chest because of the sudden change she felt on her heartbeat. She remembered their first and only kiss with the lyrics he just sang and the way he low key slipped a smile from his lips.

"I now pronounce you, husband and wife."


Meixiu heard those words but she was stuck right there, she can't resist the charm of this man in front of her. She was shocked when Chaoxiang pulled her from her waist and tucked her closer to his body, her hands landed on her chest.


"You have to kiss me lady, it's a custom.", he said.


He drew his face closer, lowering his back to reach her height. She met her leading man halfway and locked her lips on his. His lips are making hers partly opened as he slipped his lower lip inside her mouth. Her heart's beating so fast. "Stop it already Chaoxiang or I'll die having no oxygen!", Meixiu thought.


From her upper lip, he then ravished her lower lip. Meixiu was too nervous, she never kissed someone before. That's why she poked Chaoxiang's stomach with her index because according to his interview, it's his most ticklish part, hoping he will stop the kiss after but what he did shocked her. He bit his lower lip and after tasting her blood, he left her standing there.

"Are you that whipped for Chaoxiang?", she snapped out after hearing Lein.


"Why? What?"


"Give me your letter now, I'll give it to him at the back stage."


"Oh I'm sorry. Here it is.", she handed the box she made throughout the night.


"I'll go with the crowd so Chaoxiang will not see me.", Meixiu said and walked away.

Chaoxiang placed his cup noodles on the table and waited for his assistant to answer him. It's the right time for his assistant to report about the issue Chaoxiang told him to investigate. But he keeps looking away, avoiding to make any eye contact with his boss so Chaoxiang is wondering too much about what he is about to say. His assistant knows that if he'll speak up, it'll be his first time to oppose and contradict with his boss's idea and it is so nerve wracking for him. 


"Hey speak up. I only have a 15 minute break.", Chaoxiang insisted. 


"Are you aware that I am scared of going against you?" 


"Does that mean I am wrong with my conclusion?" 


"I watched and connected some CCTV footages. Miss Suyin rushed to the mall after you gave her the money. Here's the receipt of her shopping yesterday." 


Chaoxiang grabbed the paper his assistant is handing him. He saw all the items his ex girlfriend bought. He noticed most of the items she purchased were often used by married women who'll soon have their baby. Chaoxiang was there, wondering to an extent where he can't take even a small bite of his food. "Why is she buying such stuffs?", he asked himself. 


"On the other hand, Miss Meixiu was already at the shop even before Miss Suyin asked you for money." 


Now that was a sudden regret for Chaoxiang. He admits he never listened to Meixiu's explanation. Everytime he sees her, it's as if her tears are his satisfaction, her grief is his happiness and her pain is his laughter. Right now, his pride battling with his guilt. For him, because he think it's Meixiu who sent Suyin away, Meixiu deserves to regret that and it's Chaoxiang who should punish her. But knowing he was wrong with what he did last nigjt, he also wants to say sorry to his wife. 


"The only time they saw each other before Miss Meixiu bought the guitar was a day after you had some shots with Miss Suyin. If she already forced Miss Suyin to ask some money from you, how could Miss Meixiu ask the exact cost of that guitar when you only revealed you'd like to have it yesterday?" 


Chaoxiang sighed because of that fact. He is indeed wrong this time. And Meixiu's reaction ,ade him feel even guiltier. He never dared hurting him back nor did she say anything against him. Wnd the fact that she came back even if he already kicked her out of the house, that made Chaoxiang really confused. "Why is she staying then?", he thought. 


"How about Meixiu's mother? Does she know about our issues?" 


"Miss Meixiu and Madam Yang Sora, their last meeting was on the day you brought Miss Meixiu to your brother's house." 


He overreacted after hearing those words. Chaoxiang can still remember that afternoon where Yang Sora is waiting for him outside his doorstep. She axmitted she talked to her daughter and that got Chaoxiang really mad that he even hurt Meixiu that night. So why did Meixiu remain quiet though she is innocent? 


"What are you planning to do now after all those time Miss Meixiu spared you?" 


"Can you call Yang Sora for me? Tell her I want to see her. I can come over her house." 


His assistant, Jaewoo immediately left giving him the time to reflect on himself. Meixiu, she sure has all the reasons to leave him. Their marriage isn't causing her anything good. Why is she staying then? 


"Is it possible for her to fall in love with me?" 


Chaoxiang asks a lot of questions to himself, all of which are about Meixiu's resilience and endurance to stay with him. Is she just dumb or does she really love him?
