“Mr. Di Angelo.” I got up abruptly from my seat beside Hailynn’s bed.

Doctor Rogers stood by the door of the hospital room. His face was relaxed with a slight smile on his face. I assume right away that Hailynn is fine. I sauntered towards him while trying to calm myself.

“Your wife is fine and stable now.”

I frowned either way with the news. “Why did she faint? I don't think this is one of her symptoms, right? This is the first time she fainted.”

“Right. This is due to stress and mild depression. Although this is normal in pregnancy, I still advise you to be careful and take care of her. This is a crucial and delicate stage.” My frown deepened.

Stress? Depression?

“Is it normal for her to be so emotional?” Remembering how she suddenly found me aggravating. I don’t even know what I did wrong. And if I did, how would I know if she won't tell me?
