I sighed. There was no one on the road as long as I saw it. Ryan really left me here. I thought he was just joking and would stop and take me… 


I didn’t feel safe taking any cab anymore. I knew that our company wouldn’t be much, much far away, so I started walking slowly. 


But as I walked for 10 minutes, I felt like I was lost. I couldn’t see the buildings anywhere. 


 Everywhere, the land was barren as if we were out of the city. 


I took out my phone and opened Google Maps. It showed me that I had to take a turn, but I kept on moving straight. 


It said that if I move by foot, it can take upto 25 minutes. I didn’t have that much strength, but I couldn’t stay at this unknown and barren land.
