Danendra and Alina have been in a relationship since high school. 

But they separated because Danendra had to complete his education.

"I'm going to carry out state duties, I ask that you will remain faithful to wait for me until I return later". Danendra said to Alina.

Alina hears about Danendra's death on the battlefield.

She ran to the room and took a photo of him with Danendra. 

"I hate you, I hate traitors like you, why are you doing this to me, why?". Alina shouted hysterically, tears streaming down her cheeks. 

Alina witnessed the return of Danendra's body which was neatly wrapped in the coffin.

The marriage that Danendra promised is now just a story. 

Meanwhile, not one day after Danendra's departure, Alina's parents set her up with Rei, who is none other than Alina's best friend as well as her boss where Alina works. 

Since then Alina has never wanted to communicate with anyone, including her parents, it's been one year since Danendra's departure, during that time Alina stayed in the room.

Danendra is the first and last person Alina loves until now.

Rei then continued his way, he arrived at a silver metal chair where Mrs. Maya sat down, Rei gave her a drink of water and some snacks to eat to keep her energy strong. "Auntie, drink first, so that there is energy".


Mrs. Maya looked at Rei and smiled as she took the drinking water that Rei gave her. "Thank you Rei, you have helped Auntie and you have cared for Auntie". Said Mrs. Maya with a sad face.


"No need to thank Auntie, it's my duty to help Auntie and Alina, because Rei already considers Aunt and Alina like family! So Aunt don't hesitate if you need anything, tell Rei as long as Rei can help". Rei explained with sincerity from the heart.


Rei felt touched to be near Mrs. Maya. "If Alina wants to accept me, I promise I will make her happy." Rei thought.


Remembering to Mrs. Maya requests Rei to agree, because now Rei sees Alina's condition and needs someone to take care of her.


But it is impossible for Rei to reveal it now because for Rei this is not the right time.


A few minutes later the doctor came out of the room, spontaneously Mrs. Maya and Rei immediately walked to Arya's doctor.


"Are you a relative of a patient named Alina?". Ask Arya's doctor.


"Yes doctor, I am her mother". Mrs. Maya said. "How is my daughter's condition doctor, is she okay?". Asked Mrs. Maya worriedly.


Doctor Arya took a deep breath. "Thank God my daughter was saved, we have given the best treatment for her, hopefully she will recover soon". Doctor Arya answered.


Mrs. Maya immediately prostrated to hear the answer from doctor Arya. "Thank God, you have my daughter and can be saved". said Mrs. Maya.


Rei unconsciously shed tears seeing Mrs. Maya is happy to hear the good news about her daughter, Rei feels grateful that Alina can be saved. 


Because doctor Arya's had to treat another patient, he immediately said goodbye to Mrs. Maya and Rei. "Then I'll excuse myself, and now you're allowed in to see what's going on." Then Doctor Arya stepped into another patient's room.


Rei embraced Mrs. Maya. "Okay doctor, thank you". Rei replied, then brought Mrs. Maya into Alina's room.


Alina is still lying weakly on the bed, her strength is not yet available, her face is still pale. This is the second blood bag to be placed on her body so that she can recover quickly.


Alina's eyes filled with tears, tears fell from the slits of her eyes. I don't know what's going on in Alina's mind.


Alina looked to the right, she saw a middle-aged woman and a tall white man smiling at her. "Mother.. Rei". Alina muttered weakly.


Mrs. Maya wept bitterly seeing the condition of her daughter who was lying weak. "Alina,,". Then Mrs. Maya stepped closer to Alina. "Why did you hurt yourself? Don't you ever do that again". Said Mrs. Maya to her daughter.


Rei sat next to Mrs. Maya while looking at Alina who was lying weak. "Thank goodness you're okay". Rei said.


Alina felt ashamed of herself, because she was so desperate to do such a stupid thing, she also felt guilty to her mother for making her mother worried.


Rei replied only with a normal smile, Alina understood that Rei was annoyed with her.


Because it was late at night, Rei was forced to stay at the hospital. Rei saw Mrs. Maya was so exhausted, Rei asked her to rest. "Auntie seems very tired, Auntie rest first, let me take care of Alina".


Hearing Rei's words, Mrs. Maya wakes up and she sees her daughter fast asleep. "Okay, thank you for caring about Aunt's family". Said Mrs. Maya.


Then Mrs. Maya slept on the sofa, while Rei sat beside Alina. Rei actually looks very tired but because he really cares about Alina he is willing to sacrifice anything for the people he loves.
