Chapter 4

After my classes ended I got a text from Chloe telling me she is going out with Logan that I didn't have to get her from school.

I sigh as I look at the message again it looks like I'll be alone again.

Don't get me wrong I really like the fact that my lil sister is a social butterfly but I feel like I'm going to lose her.

Pathetic I know.

I get home , freshen up and decide to watch a movie on Netflix. I don't like watching movies alone but I have nothing better to do as I've finished all my assignments that are due for the next month. And it's only my second day since college reopened. Lol I'm really lonely

After realizing that I'm just wasting my time and that I'm not paying much attention to the movie I decide to facetime Ashley.

Fuck I miss her.

She picks up after a few secs.

"Hey Hope." She says sounding like she was sleeping.

"Oh sorry Ash i didn't mean to wake up. It's just Chloe is out and I'm alone and kinda lonely and I miss you so much. I'm really- ..." I didn't finish my sentence when Ash interrupts

"Hope I need to you relax. Breathe okay? I wasn't asleep I was only planning on sleeping."

"Oh." were the only words that came out of my mouth.

"Hope you know it's just me right? Your bestfriend? You can tell me what's wrong. "

"Nothing I-..." and this time I was interrupted by the door bell.

"Ash there's someone at the door . We'll talk later okay ? I love you."

"Love you too Hope."

I wonder who could be at the door. It's not like I have any friends. Or maybe it Chloe forgot her keys. I reach the doorknob and open. And in front of me is a very good looking stranger dress in a black Adidas tracksuit and nike urash.

I quickly realize that I was staring. How rude.

"Umm , how , how can I he.. help you?" I stutter.

He smiles sheepishly and responds

"Um may I come in?"

"Holy crap! Where are my manners? I'm so sorry it's I've never had visitor in 2 years. So it's kinda new . "

"It's okay."

I open the door wide and he comes in .

Then I remembered I'm wearing nothing be a robe when I say nothing I mean literally nothing but a robe. I should excuse my self before hearing him out.

"Umm..." then I realized I don't know who he is . But to my luck he introduces himself

"Blake . Blake Black ."

It has a nice ring to it. His name and surname almost rhyme.

"Okay Blake you may have a sit . Excuse my attire . Like I said I haven't had visitors in two years and I wasn't expecting one I'll be back in a few minutes. "

"It's okay I'm really sorry for the inconvenience but I really needed to speak you."

"Okay." I didn't bother asking about what he needed to talk about . I went upstairs and changed into black ripped denim shorts and a Adidas cropped hoodie and my nike urash .



I rush back downstairs.

"So Blake what did you need to talk about ." I ask sitting right next to him .

"Um... Well I'm a lawyer by profession and I really want a law firm of my own. A lil birdie told be The Simpson law firm was being sold. And you are the heir to the firm."

OhmyGod! I always waited for this day . But now I feel really bad for selling my parent's sweat and tears.

"Um okay . But why would you come to my house directly? Why not make an appointment at the firm?"

"I was in the neighborhood and I recognized the house . I am really sorry for intruding. I did try make an appointment but they said you wouldn't be available for the next month . I really couldn't wait that long." He said firmly.

"Oh I'm so sorry Mr.Black for the inconvenience. I make sure to make time see you . Let's say Saturday? "

"No need for formalities, call me Blake .There's my card call me to confirm our meeting . Thank you Hope have yourself a nice evening. "

"Would like to say a bit longer for a drink . Urgh I don't really don't know why I didn't offer you one early . I swear my mom would be really disappointed in me . And please don't refuse it will me feel worse." Okay that was a bit uncalled for but what can I say I'm really lonely.

"Um i don't see why not. Do you have any orange juice it's my favorite. "

"Hey it's my favorite too." I laugh

I make my way to get the drinks.

After an hour sitting with Blake I was laughing my arse off. This guy is really laughing . My laughing was cut off by the sound of the door opening and come in an over Happy Chloe.

"Sis I just had my first kiss . " she screamed as soon as she realized I wasn't alone her face turned slightly red of embarrassment.

"I'm sorry I didn't know we had a guest. Are you the guy my sister bumped into at the parking lot at campus . Omg you look exactly the way she describe you . Expect I thought you had tattoos ." she said eyeing me

"Chloe this is Blake he heard that the firm was being sold and he is interested in buying. And Blake this is my annoying sister Chloe."

"Oh sorry I'm a bit talkative." Chloe laughs before holding up her hand to shake Blake's.

"Pleasure to meet you Chloe. " Blake gestured for her hand .

"So can someone explain what was the laughing about because I know that selling a business isn't funny. "

Okay I know where this is going and I have to stop Chloe before she blubbers her mouth but i was too late . Because she asked me .

"Sis did you just get your first kiss too?"
