Carrying her dead body was bad enough, however even as I struggled through the portal and crossed the spacious, while at the same time, over the top too extravagant dining area of Elizabeth’s Lake house mansion—nothing could have prepared me for what could have happened next.
“The fucking hell is wrong with you?!” Blaire said, quickly snatching Olivia’s lifeless body from me as they walked into another room.
I tried to follow them, but they were quick. And good.
They spun on their heel and in the same motion, had a dagger under my chin. You!!” they hatefully spoke. “You did this! You caused her to die! You had one job! One thing that—”
I reacted by slapping the knife away and throwing them into the nearest wall, which when they connected, caused the sliding door to violently rattle.
“She deserved what she got!” I hatefully came back. “Olivia deserved everything that happened tonight! She deserved her death!”
