"I know where he is." Bretha said.

Knitting his brow Lycaon asked. "Then why didn't you take me to him."

"You cannot go there." She said.

"Why?" Lycaon asked

"He's in the cave on the mountain behind his hut." She said.

"Where is that cave?" He asked.

"Somewhere high in the mountain." Bretha said.

"I will climb." Lycaon replied.

"Have you gone mad. You can barely stand." Bretha said. "How can you even think of climbing the mountain?" She then added.

"I will climb the way I walk." Lycaon said.

"You can't." Bretha protested.

"What problem do you have?" Lycaon turned around to face her.

"Why don't you understand." Bretha came closer to him. "My father specified me to keep you safe." She then took a deep breath. "I dont know why though."

Does he know me? Lycaon thought. 'Why is he insisting on keeping me safe?'

"Have your father been to east?" He asked.

"No." Bretha said. "Why are you asking?"
