2.68 The identity

The old man gazed at hik for a while before answeringh. He then answered in a very slow manner.

"Yes."

With patience Lycaon wiated and then asked another question.

"How do you know me. And what you know about me?"

The old man gave him a faint smile. A smile that shows he knows more than what Lycaon thinks.

"You are the prince in the East." The old man said. "Or was." He then added.

Lycaon's lip twitched into a smirk. Indeed this man was right. Lycaon is dead in the eyes of everyone. And now he's no one.

"You could tell that." Lycaon said.

"Why do you want me to keep alive?" Lycaon then asked.

"Well." The old man stood up. "We don't leave people to die." He said. He then began to search for more stones to light the fire.

"And why is that so?" Lycaon asked.

"We value life." The old man said.

Lycaon was pretty surprised by his answer. He then askes about them and many more things he was curious about.
