2.75 His parents

The old man looked at him with a smile. A smile which would bring wrinkles under his eyes. He was genuinely happy on hearing that from him.

"You got a wife." The old man said.

In response lycaon gave him a curt nod. He didn't know how to response to that. Was that a think to be happy about, he thought. For a fraction of moment there were tears in the eyes of the old man.

Knitting his brows Lycaon asked. "Are you crying?"

Wiping his hodded eyes with his old shaky finger, he again smiled at Lycaon. "No. I am happy." He said.

"For?" Lycaon asked.

"You." The old man said.

Lycaon couldn't understand; what make him so happy that his eyes turned clouded. Now he thinks, this old man is crazy. But the smile looks so genuine that Lycaon couldn't resist to ask.

"Are you really happy?"

"Indeed. I am." The old man said.

This answer was straight. No cazy man could do so.

"For me?" Lycaon asked again.
