F*cking Tanks

A blast of white light filled Rob's vision forcing him to close his eyes, when he opened them he was back in the "core" room, except this time there was a large screen on the wall in front of him. Rob was shocked but quickly realized what he was seeing was the 'earth view' the system told him about.

'Ahh right' Rob thought

'The system said liberty island right?' rob was confused because the scene in front of him was utterly deserted, dust bird droppings and litter scattered around, but no people.

Quickly though, rob figured out why there were no people, there was no Lady Liberty, or, to be precise, there were only a pair of large shattered feet where the once-proud Statue stood. "Haha" Rob started laughing out loud "serves you right a*sholes." He didn't know where this anger was coming from but he was very, very, angry.

But, Rob started to get bored, 'where is everybody' he wondered, quickly though, a strange circle formed on the ground about twenty meters away, vertically like a circular door.

'What's this system?' rob asked

Before Rob could ask any more questions something came out from the portal, its sleek beige angles and long cannon scared the ever-living sh*t out of Rob, while its 2 mg's pointed at the portal, their cold metal barrels gleaming in the sun. "AN ABRAMS'' rob screamed before chanting "I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die." Rob was a bit of a tank enthusiast, which made him fully aware of the power of an Abrams.

Rob quickly calmed himself down and acted as if nothing had happened. Meanwhile, 2 more Abrams came out of the Gate, forming a semi-circle 15 meters away from the portal. The screen could pick up sound though, not that there would be much, Abrams weren't known as the "Whispering Death" for nothing.

What popped up next though, delighted him.

"Aren't you a little scared ray?" a shy and young girl about 14 asked, with white robes and a long staff that did nothing for her black hair.

"How could I be, it's just an f-rank Lillie" responded a young voice full of vigor, which was reflected in the 6-foot tall young man with square features holding a massive greatsword, and wearing a tracksuit.

"B-but it's our first Dungeon!" Lillie said back, clearly nervous

"Stop chatting and form up," A slightly older voice said, full of Haughtiness, his white armor encrusted with cross-shaped gems spilled with the arrogance of a rich young master, similarly reflected in his "trendy" styled blond hair and sharp features.

"Yes, Sir. Jack," a young man said with a sarcastic tone. Similar to Lilly, this man was wearing a black robe with a long wooden staff, adorned with a translucent crystal at the top. He was about 20.

"Ugh shut up Finn," a female voice said, full of annoyance and a tinge of excitement, her soft features, and short shorts made her a pleasure to the eye, only being interrupted by the short bow and quiver on her back

This was the "newbie party," as the name suggests, it was full of newly awakened lv.10s going on their first Solo Dungeon Raid. Lillie was a priest, Ray was a Magic Warrior, Jack was a Paladin, Finn was a mage, and the final female voice was Eva, the archer.

In Front of them was a blue screen, identical to Rob's, that said

"Ugh goblins," Eva said, only to be followed up by Finn's voice "Chicken" Eva's usually calm face changed "A*shole"

In Front of them was a swirling blue portal, while behind them were three Abrams and a few people in black suits, one of them called out "have you checked your equipment" they all nodded, except Jack of course, how could he lower his head after all.

The man in the black suit nodded "then please begin your Dungeon Raid, Awakened"
