"Yeah, hurry up and call," Mr. Lee said.

Alfred hastily takes out his cellphone and calls his friend.

"He picked the call," Alfred said in low voice briskly.

"Speaker ..." Nina tells him in a low voice.

Alfred nods and keeps the call in speaker mode.

A sound of someone sobbing came through the call.

"Hello, Jason" Alfred calls him out.

Still, there was no reply, and the sound of crying continued.

"Jason, are you perhaps crying?" Alfred asked

"What happened? Hello?" Alfred adds

Everyone gazed at each other giving a perplexed stare.

Finally, after a second, there was a reply.

"H...hello" a woman replies in a quavering voice

Everyone were a little bit astounded to hear a woman's voice, for they were expecting Alfred's friend to reply.
