Nemesis was confused because he just awoken after been graced with a name from a very mysterious individual and now a weird lady was is in his head speaking a lot of things that confused him.

And it was only to skill gifting part did Nemesis notice who or what this voice was, it was so shocking to the point he began to stuttered his words.

"I-Is this... E... E-E-Era!"

This one revelation plagued Nemesis mine, he knew after being grace with a named by a powerful individual it would grant him great power.

But it seems power wasn't the only thing he inherit; he was also welcome into phenomena known as the subject of Era.

It was a blessing that only one in every twenty thousand people could be a part of, what are the subject of Era, well it simple.

In this world there are ten powerful individual that can be considered the children of Era, in today time and age they are known as Apostle of the world, or the ten original subject of Era and the progenitors of the Oddities that plagues this world.

It was said they were allowed to ask Era for any favor as long as it is within reasoning or it benefit her in way possible.

And to be a subject of Era is akin to being favored by the world, it was said that many who were Favour by her were able to do things that was considered impossible by many.

"And now I am one of them, honestly father Mercury who the hell are you, it was like anyone you name instantly become a part of the world favored subjects; what the hell, I never heard of such a thing in my short life even if my knowledge on the subject is limited elder sister has always been one who takes great interest in the world affairs as a hobby and now, I'm a part of it."

Nemesis was shocked beyond belief, why you ask well something like this has never been heard of not from what he knows so far.

If anything, all he knows is that there is only two ways to become a subject of Era

"The first been you were loved by the world the moment you were born."

Or the second been a trial of worth, in short you have to do or have something that is worth mentioning to make the world have some interest in you, a perfect example would be the very story, of the epic of Gilgamesh.

It was said that Era took great interest in him because he was from another world, it was the very reason why he was considered the first human brave, because he was the only human capable of wielding over a hundred different skills.

Another one would be the elf race it was said that over 90% of them were favored by her because of their loving attitude and aptitude to nature, but then and again it was still exaggerative number because the elf was a really prideful set of ignorant begins that loves to brag about themselves.

"But here I am, someone who wasn't born love or hasn't done anything to achieved said love, but in the end was still given that love by simply been named by someone who seems to be over love by the world itself, what the hell are you father."

And after thinking this one question in his head over and over again he decides to just leave it as is as he need to find father to thank him for the second chance of life that he has given him.

That and he will probably need to steal a new set of clothes or at least make some, Nemesis also wants to try his new abilities as he didn't know if they were powerful or not but he feels confident that with the power displayed by the person that named him, was so destructive that a mere fire ball spell did that much damage to a wall if that is the case then without a doubt his ability should also be amazing as well.

"And maybe, just maybe I could take my revenge on Kira."

"But for now, I should get going."

Nemesis began to walk out the cave as he wanted to see how looks, he knows that the pigmentation on his skin was the same colors as Mercury or a variety of the shade if anything.

Mercury skin was pale and albino like one may even confused it with white porcelain it was inhumane in every sense of the word just been around him give one the impression of been grace by the presence of a divine entity, or an unknown mystery that has walk the world since the times of old.

While his skin was a beautiful white or snow white in color.

But just when he reaches the outside of the cave his increased smell picks up the smell of an all too familiar scent he turns around with glee as he said.

"Agh... father Mercury it great to se...

But to his disappointment it wasn't Mercury instead it was a mysterious bird that he has never seen or heard of before.

It was without a doubt half a meter long, it had a large broad head it was full white bird, it eyes were nothing but a full black sclera that make you think your looking into a never-ending abyss.

But the most unorthodox feature that the bird has was the Ram like horns on its head that curls downward.

But what was quite an unsettling feeling one can feel from it, was those very eyes it possesses, it was as if it was looking into the deepest depth of your being, it like it knows everything about you by mere look alone.

Nemesis watch as the mysterious bird gave him one last look and did a creepy thing where it turns its head all the way around as if was looking at something.

Nemesis then turns to the direction that the mysterious bird turns towards and when he looks, he was taken by shocked as a certain familiar scent invade his nose as he spoke.

"Sister is t-that you."

Nemesis then proceeds to follow the scent, as the mysterious owl began to follow him observing him from high in the sky.

And after about two minutes of walking in the forest, the scent began to get stronger and stronger till a weird feeling of familiarity hit him.

"Sister, can you hear me it me little pink, your little brother."

Nemesis gets closer and say in an indifferent tone.

"Where are you why are you hiding from me."

Nemesis heart began to well up in regret or he tried to make it so.

"Did I make you mad, I'm very sorry but like you said, strong prey weak and weak worship strong", I can... I can prey on you right, because I'm strong now; you don't have to fear Kira anymore right, so just come out."

Nemesis gets closer to the source as he tries to turn his regrets into hope.

Eventually he reaches a clearing where the scent of his sister was the most potent, but sadly he found nothing, not a single thing.

"Haha I should have known better than to hope, after all, I watch her die right in front of me, sigh even so why can't I feel anything, it almost as if all my emotions were taken from me, I can't feel love but yet I yearn for it, I can't feel happiness nor sadness but yet I want neither, all I feel is an unquenchable thirst for vengeance and destruction."

And just when Nemesis was wondering why all his emotions were usurped away, he got his answer as Era began to speak.

[Avenger: This passive ability allows you to always stay in a constant flow of unpredictable strength as it slowly feed off your emotion and turn said emotion into physical and spiritual strength, it also gives you the ability to permanently kill and injured your enemies, as anything you kill will stay dead forever, as their soul will be cut off from the path of reincarnation and be offered up to the world to become ghastly energy to suffice it, and any wound you inflicted on your enemies cannot be healed and if you are close to them those wounds will stay open and worsen over time even in battle, if you are far away from them then it will revert back to its normal heal state]

When Nemesis heard this, he was kind of neutral about it, almost as if the shocking emotion he felt earlier was eaten as well, even now he felt like he was getting stronger by each passing second.

"I see so this is the power that father has given to me, the name Nemesis was literally the name of an avenger, so that why he named as such, truly father knowledge knows no bounds."

"But I still wonder why am I smelling my sister scent so strongly in this open field."

And just when Nemesis wanted to know the answer the mysterious owl came flying down as it landed on top of Nemesis shoulder.

And when that happen his body felt weird so he looks down and began to analyze it, and then that's when it happens the weird bird started to manifest a set of clothes on him.

"What the hell, isn't this the same ability father Mercury use when he was naked as well."

Nemesis was covered in what can only be called as a samurai yukata that was full red with draconic pattern on it and a full black pants along with shoes, while on his face was kitsune mask also known as fox mask, while on his head was black and red Sakkat with red skulls hanging off of it.

Nemesis in surprised slowly turn his head upward and began speaking to the mysterious bird as he said.

"What the hell are you?"
