My Father

Yes mum." her eyes were locked on her mother, Rita was extremely attentive at the moment. "Rita, I am so sorry for ruining your morning it's just that I'm overwhelmed right now by my emotions right now. I don't know how to control myself." Rita's mother kept sniffing as she spoke. "It's Ok mum." Rita replied. "So what is it?" Is it debt or my relationship with Rex?" Her mother had always had a problem with her love life for some reason unknown to Rita

"Its not that. Well it is a little about Rex. But I'm just worried about you and I don't want you to make the same mistakes I made with your father." "My father?" Rita lifted her brow "What about my father." She didn't see why a dead man would make her mother cry. "Yes. Rex have a lot of characters your dad had and honestly it bothers me." Rita's mother Eunice held her daughter's hand "Being with your father was one mistake I couldn't control. The only good thing that came out of our relationship was you and your brother. The joy of our relationship to me was you. You and your brother. I don't want you to have the same experience I had. So I think its time to tell you the story of me and your dad and how it all began. Rita actually felt disappointed, she knew her parents didn't really have a good relationship but she felt it wasn't necessary for her mother to put up all the drama for this. Rita didn't air her views, she just silently listened to her mother. Eunice wiped the tears off her face and continued. "When I was eighteen and done with high school, I met a guy. He was this charming young, sweet boy and you can say it was love at first sight. But before then, I never had time for boys. I really wasn't attracted to them and to me, they were nothing but a little source of distraction to girls. But your he was different. He was sweet, too sweet." Eunice continued her story.

"Hi, nice to meet you." A young good looking guy approached a girl who stood only in a lively party. She froze for some minutes before finding the words in her mouth "Oh...hey." was all she could say. The young man introduced himself as

Davis Junior and the young Eunice told him her name. They exchanged numbers and later that night she got a call from him, They spoke for some hours and had a hard time ending the conversation. Davis junior was two years older than Eunice and to her it was the perfect age. She then felt the way other girls did when they were in a relationship or had a crush. Eunice felt happy about the relationship and the fact that it wouldn't affect her school performance as she was about to write her final exams. She didn't want to be over confident so she asked Davis for a few days off to focus on her exam and come out best. He agreed without much hesitation, and that made her fall deeply for him. With the exams going smoothly and ending well for her, Eunice decided to strengthen her bond with Davis. From long calls to frequent visits, Eunice spent all her time with Davis. She didn't have a bother as the couple she was leaving with though noticed she had isolated lately but didn't bother to find out why as she was never at home. Weeks

grown into months and Eunice and Davis no doubt got closer. When the results came out they both had excellent scores to match. Eunice was so happy to have found not a dumb guy but a brilliant one at that. Not only is Davis Junior handsome he was intelligent and also from a rich and affluence family. They got closer, and went for some dates, those days where the most exciting days for Eunice. It was on such dates he gave her her first

kiss. At first she resisted and was shy but later she gave in. Davis moved his hand all over her body and Eunice let him. She felt her blood pumping really fast and flow like flames over her body. After they had gotten enough feel of each other he told her how much he loved her and would like to build his world with her by his side. He was her first love, he was the first guy she has eyes on and the first to express her love to. On one occasion, Davis told Eunice of his parent intentions of sending him abroad to further his education. Although they were far apart. Davis would call every day and it made Eunice happy to have such a thoughtful boyfriend.
