Chapter 21 - The Puppet's Tale (8) Part 2

Ah Jin was now bidding farewell to the Emperor and Empress in turn.

"This daughter kowtows to Father for raising me. Now is the daughter's time to leave."

Afterward, she squeezed a few tears out of her eyes.

His Majesty's eyes reddened slightly.

"You must not be capricious in the future. You must not bring disgrace to the Royals. You must be a good wife and teach your children."

"Daughter knows."

Ah Jin looked at the Empress again.

The Empress remained upright and dignified in her gown.

"I kowtow to Mother for her grace in raising and teaching me. I will do my duty as a woman in the future. I won't let Mother worry."

The Empress turned the jade bead in her hand and faintly responded, "Well, the auspicious time has come. Now go."

Ah Jin kowtowed to the two of them again and got up to go out.

After the Empress saw Ah Jin turn around, her body instantly went limp.

The jade bead strings in her hand were almost too hard to hold and the hand gripping the chair had gone white.

She stared intently at Ah Jin's back.

Her daughter was getting married, she was so sad.

As if Ah Jin had heard her heartfelt voice.

She turned around and took two quick steps to jump on top of her and cried, "Mother, I am so sad to leave you."

The Empress couldn't stand it any longer and tightly embraced Ah Jin into her arms.

"My child, Mother, will I miss you."

The Emperor saw that and turned to wipe his eyes.

The Empress lifted Ah Jin, straightened her back up, looked at her, and said.

"Hurry up and leave. It's not good to miss the auspicious time. Just come back to the palace often when you miss Mother. If anyone dares to bully you, Mother will make the decisions for you."

That was when Ah Jin bade the Empress a reluctant farewell.

She boarded the palanquin towards the palace entrance.

San Qi was in the space, literally jumping in anger, "You're so good at acting! It's a shame you're not an actress on your next assignment."

If it wasn't for the fact that her emotional value hadn't changed at all in the backend, then he would be convinced that Ah Jin was really sincere.

Ah Jin despised him, "What do you know? The best part of life is when everyone's drunk, and I'm sober and overlooking the world."

San Qi also ignored her and went back to space to mess with something.

Rong Yi knelt three times and kowtowed nine times at the Palace Gate.

Then they returned to the Residence together with the massive procession of seeing off the bride.

Upon entering the new home, the couple must bow to Heaven and Earth, to their parents and each other.

When they got back to the new house, it was time to remove the veil and perform the union ceremony.

Ah Jin was exhausted when the whole shebang ended.

Only the two of them were left in the new room after the ceremony.

Who would dare make a scene in the Princess's new room?

Did they want to die?

Rong Yi looked at the woman in front of him, adorned with Phoenix Coronets and the dainty flowers painted on the forehead.

The Grand Red Phoenix Bird's wedding garment was illuminated by candlelight, making her face all the more bright and beautiful.

Ah Jin smiled at him sweetly.

He was a little dazed by the sight of her red lips and white teeth.

Ah Jin looked at the person in front of her and thought this guy must be stupid and dull.

There was no help for it.

It was pretty easy to get it done with a smile. Nevertheless, the show was still in full swing.

Ah Jin looked at him, "Rong Yi?"

Only then did Rong Yi regain his senses and even bowed. "Your Royal Highness."

Ah Jin smiled back, "You and I are already husband and wife, why be so distant? You can call me Jinxiu, and I'll call you Ah Yi, okay?"

Rong Yi instantly blushed, "That's against the rules."

"It's just you and me here. There is no need for us to talk about this in private."

Rong Yi agreed to this.

After thinking about it, he said, "Jinxiu refers to the meaning of perfect beauty. Jin means fresh and beautiful, and Xiu means gorgeous. I think the word "Jin" matches you. Can I call you A'Jin?"

Ah Jin had the urge to lift the table.

'You son of a ****! You can't call me by my real name!'

Her face, however, remained unmoving, and she gritted her teeth. "Ah Yi, as long as you're happy."

Rong Yi was so happy that he summoned Ah Jin's maidservants to come in to remove her makeup and wash her.

Ah Jin's heart just wanted to punch this big idiot to death.

After freshening up, she pulled Rong Yi's sleeve.

"Let's share a room when I'm ready, okay? "

The ruler had absolute authority.

"That is natural. Please do as you please, Princess."

The following day, Ah Jin took Rong Yi into the palace to thank the Emperor.

The Empress looked at the two people in front of her, a good-looking man and a pretty woman, an excellent match, her heart a little less worried.

She instructed them to live a good life, and if the Princess was unruly, the Prince Consort should be more responsible.

Rong Yi said he would treat the Princess well.

Only then was the Empress satisfied and sent the two of them out of the palace.

On the carriage, Rong Yi asked, "A'Jin, you're tired. Why don't you take a nap?"

Seeing her nod, he quietly placed the cushion behind Ah Jin, making her more comfortable.

Ah Jin was satisfied.

She thought he had a conscience.

Returning to the Marquis' Residence, she had to pay a visit to her in-laws again and needed to brace herself to deal with the situation.

When the Marquis' crowd saw Ah Jin walk into the hall, they immediately rose to their feet and bowed.

"Greetings, Your Highness."

Ah Jin stepped forward to help the Marquis and Madam Marquis.

"Quickly dispense with the formalities. This is a family banquet, no need to be polite."

So the Marquis and Madam rose smoothly. "Thank you, Your Highness, but the courtesies cannot be ignored."

"The Marquis is joking. Now we are a family. There is no need for such vain courtesies between family members."

The Marquis added, "Then I will respectfully follow your orders."
