[Daily Wheel of Chance!]

[Pouch of Medicinal Plant seeds]

[ - 15 seeds of Uncommon Grade medicinal herbs which come from Planet Alura -56, known for supplying the Intergalactic Network with herbs, potions, and tonics that could improve someone's strength and health]

[While others could cleanse the body from any filth and waste before practicing their body energy]

.

'Hmm… at least Carter can plant these and make something of them…'

Esmond wasn't overly concerned with the rewards from the Daily Wheel of Chance, because the Uncommon Grade herbs wouldn't be able to affect his body.

The Xoplis Body Refinement and Spiritual Practise Manual made it incredibly difficult to find medicinal herbs that could affect his growth.

While they might give him the lowest amount of improvement, his Primordial Human body ruined any chances of them making any difference to improving his body or mind.

However, they would be vital for the others in the future once there were enough plants to supply his armed forces heavily.

.

Currently in the air, Esmond wasn't too far off from reaching Sydney, before taking a connecting flight to Adelaide.

For most of the flight, he'd been asleep and resting, passing his time watching the films and shows the inflight entertainment system offered, but while scrolling through the list, he came across Transformers, the 2007 film with Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.

Esmond thought about using his Golden Knowledge ability on the film to learn about Autobots and Deceptions construction but seeing the film he understood quickly that there was technology he had no hope of grasping right now, which would be important in creating his own Transformer Force.

He thought about using his Creation Cards, since he had three and planned to use one to gift his parents with Primordial bodies, but Carter told him that the cards had such great power that those wishes still wouldn't be enough to dispel the power held within them.

Therefore, he would need to ask for more before the one card would find it sufficient to transform its power and leave nothing behind to disrupt the continuum.

Thinking about it, Esmond held off for now on using those cards and just focused on resting for the remainder of his flight before reaching home.

There was still the meeting to come with his dear uncle and possible CEO of his business, so he wanted to leave a good impression in front of his teacher.

"You mean he's already started his own business?

And he bought Hamish's old block near south terrace?"

"Mmm… I don't know how or when, but he just decided to get into the waste management and recycling business.

From what Julia told Ruby, I think Esmond has roughly 7 landfills that have agreed to send parts of the waste to be recycled, however, there is still a fair deal of work to be done."

Daniel was in the lounge room sitting beside his dear friend James, Esmonds teacher during the last month and part of January, who was over with his wife and daughter, having dinner at the Manstons home.

James had enquired about Esmond, wondering also why he hadn't come over for any classes of late, but once Daniel brought him up to date with everything that'd happened in the short time, James couldn't believe what he was hearing.

It made him jealous in a way, that someone so young was able to cruise ahead in their life now that they had a secure business.

Waste was something that couldn't be completely wiped out, as evident to the enormous number of landfills around the world and rubbish entering the waters daily, so James believed Esmond had entered a strong market with only room to grow and develop if done correctly.

He had the urge to actually call Esmond at that very moment and start firing off some suggestions for the business as well as steps to be taken and who to meet, but he stopped himself when he heard his wife's and daughters voice, laughing and giggling with Ruby.

.

"You have that look in your eyes James…"

"Hmm…"

"*Sigh* I shouldn't be saying this… but ready yourself…

Esmond might come knocking…"

James eyes were about to jump out of their sockets, finding it incredibly difficult to believe his student and child he considered like his nephew, would approach him for work.

"Has he said something…?"

"In… a way…" Daniel vaguely said, unable to speak of the space and Carter, who both Ruby and he had pestered nonstop till they found out their sons plans and then organised the little dinner with James.

Carter wanted to tell Esmond what was going on, but Ruby and Daniel had made him promise to not let their dear son know, as they feared his retribution, if any…

.

"Look James, he knows how you operate and behave, plus I know you've told him about your previous working history when you gave him your resume to help him.

If he does offer you something, please take it…

The kids are now grown old friend… and even so, the boy wants to operate from here…

Why not help him secure this place, then focusing elsewhere…?"

Daniel said nothing more on the matter, even refusing to pay attention to James following question as he didn't want the night to become their own little meeting.

Therefore, he got up and left James in the lounge, while going to join the ladies in the kitchen, laughing about something that piqued Daniels's interest.

James just sat back in the chair and thought to himself, 'If he's really asked for that meeting on the 7th, just for this reason…. then… I don't know…'

He was trying to decide for himself and the people that he loved if it would be the wisest thing to join his student's business.

"Finally… home sweet home…"

Reaching Adelaide in the early hours of the morning, Esmond received a string of messages from the system, so he checked those as well as the wheel of chance while he was in the taxi home.

He was planning to call Carter, but he learnt Carter had started sleeping which as well somehow increased his productivity and stabilised his power every time.

So, Esmond didn't plan to bother them when he arrived home, since it would be roughly 8am in the morning and they might possibly be asleep.

When he opened the door to his house and entered, there was the distinct sound of dishes rattling in the kitchen, possibly from the sink, 'Mums awake…' and then the voice he dreaded most… his fathers… came screaming into his ears…

.

"Hello, hello, hello, how low

Hello, hello, hello

.

With the lights out, it's less dangerous

Here we are now, entertain us

I feel stupid and contagious

Here we are now, entertain us

A mulatto, an albino, a mosquito, my libido

Yeah, hey"

.

'Smells like Teen Spirit… for god's sake stop ruining my favourite songs!'

Esmond felt like turning around and leaving already, hearing the shrill screams coming from his parents, however his quick movement led to his bag over his shoulder smacking into the side table beside the couches, alerting his parents.

'"ESY BABY!"' the two screamed as they ran to Esmonds side and hugged their boy tight.

"I've only been gone a couple days!"

"And that was just too much in mind…"

Ruby said, checking her son's temperature and inspecting his face to see if he'd eaten or not.

"Your mothers right!

What's with all this flying around, just sit back and get someone else to manage that crap for you…

Isn't that right, honey?"

Ruby vehemently nodded, agreeing with her husbands' words.

All Esmond could do was give up and listen to the whims of his parents, when in reality he wanted to race for the space and get to work summoning the Zadris people.

But he had to settle with spending some time with his parents, which he didn't mind as he gave them their gifts which was a diamond necklace that had a ruby gem in the centre for his mother and a Lego stars wars set for his father.

His gifts gave him the breathing room he greatly desired and told parents he was off to the Spatial Ark Land, to which his parents followed close behind with the food they'd prepared for the morning.

They typically liked to stay in the space now, but they came out to their Adelaide home every morning, so it became the place for breakfast and sleep over the weekend and the rest of the time they spent in the space.

It was all connected with the outside work anyway, so Daniel and Ruby never missed out on any information or news.

Carter could also connect and open a gate between the two places to send his drones to clean the home in Adelaide and rebuild it when Esmond asked him because of the leveling up of the system.

.

Once they entered the Spatial Ark Land, they appeared in the cabin lounge and walked straight to the kitchen with the food.

"Carter! Food is here honey!" Ruby shouted out, calling Carter for breakfast, but it caught Esmond completely off guard as he wasn't expecting that at all.

'What the fuck has been happening here while I've been gone?' Esmond thought as he buried himself into the plate of food filled with pancakes, fruits, and some hashbrowns.

Not wanting to wait, Esmond started eating as he heard Carter coming down from the stairs above, give both Ruby and Daniel a hug before taking a seat.

"How was your flight?"

"… Could have been better if I had company…" Esmond thought back to Ava Harper that he met in the lounge at JFK airport, but what he didn't realise was his words sounded like travelling alone was dreary and caught his parents' attention.

"Sweetie, you don't need to go travelling alone!

We will join you!"

"Yes, me and your mother will come along with you.

We don't do much nowadays anyway, so it'll be nice to travel together as a family."

"No!" Esmond had to interjected quickly before his parents were lost to the dribble that came out of their mouths which would inevitably lead to his freedom disappearing.

"… I just happened to meet a lovely lady while I waited for my flight… I was just hoping it she could have joined me on my flight…"

"Ohhh… our boy is in love!!"

Ruby lost all reasoning and started coddling her boy, already discussing the wedding, and asking every detail about the lady that'd taken her baby boy's heart.

'I give up…' Esmond let his mother have her way until she lost interest, praying she didn't eat up his entire day with her fantasies for his wedding she'd made in her mind.

Even Daniel asked Carter to get him away from Ruby, worried he would be roped into her decision planning.

He still had nightmares about the wedding planning for his own wedding…

..

.

"Finally, free huh…"

"Yeah… took a bloody long time though…"

Esmond complained to Carter as they walked through the second city, having gotten away from his mother, who'd stopped with the questions and wedding plans, saying to Esmond, "As long as your happy, we are happy sweetie…" and left Esmond to go on about his work.
