Reborn Anew...

"Should someone tell Carter so he can let Esmond know…?" Archies worried voice reached the ears of his brothers who all fearfully watched on.

"*Sigh* Its fine… he'll end up earning double if not triple what they've spent so far with Eddies help… right?" Maverick looked over at Eddie to confirm his thoughts.

Thankfully for Maverick his older brother had been quite active increasing Esmonds wealth further.

"Don't worry, the girls have only spent around a hundred million dollars…

In that time, I've already made triple of the amount back already… but if they are serious about the last purchase… then its out of my hands." Eddie waved his hands, already exhausted by the effort he'd put in to generate enough wealth for the Esmond in the last few hours because of the erratic spending style of the girls.

"We just need to hurry this shit up and get the girls back to the hotel.

Esmonds going to war, and we're here watching over the girls… *Sigh*… can we hurry up and end this shit so we can go home…

Honestly the war Esmonds decided to involve himself in needs my full attention and probably Vaazakras as well." Kane couldn't help but feel frustrated by the situation he was stuck in, as were the others.

He wanted to return home to the Spatial Ark Star World and prepare for the chaos which was about to start over on Astelan.

Kanes words connected with his brothers, who were all exhausted by the shopping spree of the women.

They'd gone far enough with their free reign over Esmonds bank card, going ahead and purchasing items from clothing, real estate and even some small businesses in Melbourne that'd attracted the girls' eyes.

.

"I just wanna go back… and work on my projects…" Archie felt the most bitter and emotional compared to the other A.I Spirits.

He bought a bottle for them to all share while touring the latest purchase by the girls, an out-of-date area near the city which appeared to be a heavily out of date as skyscraper through the city skyline.

At a price of roughly $49 million, vastly cheaper because of the interior damage and extensive worked required on the external frame of the building.

The group of A.I Spirit men were left exhausted by the tortuous travelling through the heavy traffic of the city.

The girls on the other hand couldn't be more thrilled, as May started envisioning her plan for the Cosmetic and Fashion brand.

Amelia and Layla loved the idea of rebuilding the old skyscraper and use as the headquarters for the brand.

They were both invited to join the brand by May but they both declined.

Layla had her own plans, especially after working with her mother to be trained as Esmonds Personal Secretary.

She was rather hopeful about taking on that role sooner than later.

Amelia was already working with her father to take a position within the Primal Management company, though she wouldn't receive any favouritism to land a high-level role within the business.

They both told May their plans, who asked they still be involved in some way or another, preferably designing of the products.

Amelia and Layla agreed, understanding they would be around May enough to see her managing the start and operations of the business.

As the girls walked around the building, envisioning the gardens and future of the grand site, Kane contacted Vaazakra through the Spatial Ark Star World as the war in Astelan neared its beginning.

Kane needed to focus on the incoming battle, especially with wars being his speciality, but he wanted Vaazakras help to deal with the management of the Virtual Profiles going into battle.

Many had sharpened their skills within the Virtual World, yet they had no idea what the battles would be like on Astelan.

Even with the extensive amount of technology and machines at hand, nobody besides Rahzil had any experience what it was like.

The Reborn Lich had provided his recounts of the battle to his own personal Virtual Profiles and directly to the A.I Spirits as well, which was why Kane worried about the outcome of the fight.

He had several quantum computers in his control, even so Kane required Vaazakras help if anything were to go wrong.

Thankfully for Kane, Carter kept an eye out with the satellites in the skies of Astelan, ready to take personal action if needed, more than was required.

.

"… Their close…" Liao Zhen spoke, alerting Rahzil, Esmond and Wang Jie as they waited for the enemy's arrival.

"Should we prepare our forces?" Wang Jie asked, subconsciously hoping someone else took charge of the battle instead of himself.

He looked over at his Master before Esmond and Rahzil, only to see them comfortable and fairly relaxed.

"Don't worry… *Sigh*… apparently the Sect Leader and the Elders don't think the Red Tortoise will be much of a challenge…

Fools…" Esmond uttered as he heard directly from Carter that around 6,000 were attacking in the first wave with another 2,000 right after.

Carter wasn't able to figure out the energy levels of the people attacking, yet he suspected them to be fairly powerful for all the Elders and even the Sect Leader to move as well.

Considering the numbers, Esmond was rather underwhelmed by the forces gathered, but he'd yet to learn about the battles within a cultivation world, so commanded Carter to prepare everything.

Armed drones with automated firing systems were deployed throughout the borders of the Red Tortoise Outer Wing.

The cannons were prepped and ready with androids racing to atop the walls with weapons and armour equipped.

Some of the larger military vehicles hadn't yet been deployed like the aircrafts or tanks, but they were far off, since Esmond wanted to them to be a surprise.

No strong foe seemed to be invading in the first few waves according to Liao Zhen, which led Esmond to believe they wanted to see how Rahzil would fair again.

.

"Let's go meet these idiots…" Rahzil said while placing down his drink.

Besides killing some members of another Sect, Rahzil chose not to fatally harm those from the Exalted Night Heavenly Sect, even if they were gunning for his life.

He rather felt it was pointless to not kill them all and turn every corpse into an Undead however as Rahzil didn't wish to be exiled for killing members of his own sect.

Esmond still didn't want him to kill anyone if they could avoid it, but the set-up of his forces was ready to shed blood like an endless flowing river.

The group all flew out from Wang Jies apartment with the Red Tortoise Elder and Grand Elder using the control over Qi to move through the sky while Rahzil used his proficiency over magic to fly.

Esmond was the only one able to fly with his own strength and natural ability as the Golden Sentry Serum redeveloped his entire makeup from a molecular level.

It felt more like using a specific muscle when flying, though in Esmonds case, the System had made his muscle empowered like the might of tens of suns.

His fluid movements through the air caught the others attention as they flew beside him, with their thoughts slightly jealous and annoyed at how easy Esmond made the action seem.

However, their thoughts quickly turned into faint whispers as they noticed the large number of cultivators moving closer to their position.

To Esmond's surprise, the other party had come to parley even though he knew they were dead set on taking the Red Tortoise Outer Wing.

Liao Zhen decided to hide his presence as to not alert the members of Sect, afraid they would stop their actions only to beg for forgiveness.

.

"On behalf of the Sect Leader and the other Elders within the Inner Courts… give up Wang Jie… and return the lands into the hands of the Sect once more.

You'll otherwise face utter destruction at our hands…" An Outer Wing Elder of the Exalted Night Heavenly Sect was sent to conduct the parley between the two opposing parties.

He aired arrogance above all other emotions, yet his behaviour made Esmond want to laugh as he'd never believed cultivators could think so highly of themselves.

Well… some, and one that wasn't strong enough to defeat him.

.

Wang Jie was about to reply, yet with Esmond around he lost his chance and could only listen in awe as his ally sharply replied back.

"And on my behalf, you can tell your jackass of a Sect Leader that I will be taking his whole Sect as my own.

Hes failed too many with his greed as have the Inner Court Elders, so let me say this…

Prepare… for your death and utter annihilation."

Esmonds threat instantly turned the Outer Wing Elder away, flying back to carry the message of war to the Sect Leader.

Keener than most, Esmond wanted to use his whole strength that'd been locked up for some time now and see how he would fair against the might of immortals.

Before he could release all of his strength for battle, Liao Zhen spoke to him through Spiritual Communication, leading Esmond to stop dead in his tracks.

'Don't dare take action…

While I may have taken your side… many of those men are my former students…'

Beyond furious, Esmond readied himself to fight the Grand Elder instead to teach the double-crossing bastard however he stopped once Liao Zhen decided to elaborate his own plan.

'… I'll go a seek an audience with the Sect Leader…

That brat won't make a move once I arrive, but I'll no doubt here hear his complaints about the ill work of my dear disciple Wang Jie.

I've seen enough sincerity on your part to know you can trust others but once its broken, it'll forever be apart.

I have no plans to break it, but I still don't wish to see endless death of my Sect students.'

Esmond chose to let the man do as he needed to, while asking Carter to keep track of the Grand Elder through the satellite imaging.

'Carter… the second he betrays us…'

'Don't worry Esy… all weapons will be ready to go.' Slightly worried about the unknown, Esmond made sure Carter could deal with any sudden surprise, even if they'd already been considered into the plans of battle.

.

'Liu Jiang… have you truly fallen so low…' using the help of an artifact in his possession, Liao Zhen could hide his body and fade into the world.

The invisibility skill rather came from one of his martial techniques but amplified with the help of his artifact.

With its help, Liao Zhen noticed the Sect members who were ready to fight for the Outer Wing happened to all be people long forgotten in the past of the Sects dark history.

The Grand Elders eyes fell on the Elders situated around the Sect Leader, Liu Jiang, happened to include some members of exiled Sect disciples.

Two happened to be former students of Liao Zhen himself, yet their cruel actions to the mortals of Astelan were too horrific for Liao Zhen to take.

He'd exiled them to never returned, along with several others who'd done similarly heinous crimes.

Liao Zhen could see them all back and now serving beside Liu Jiang, another student of his and a close friend of those who were long exiled.

He realised that Liu Jiang had called them back at some point and decided to release all of their anger onto Wang Jie while he remained away for training.

Thankfully none seemed to content against his own strength, Liao Zhen worried that the Sect he remembered was long gone and what it appeared to be now was a walking corpse, trotting along till death came.

'*Sigh* there can only be war… no peace…

The Sect shall end today and be reborn anew…'
