The Clash

=Guild of the Shield of Faction - Infirmary Hall; Room 203=

Nympha sat on a corner of Ray's bed.

Nympha: "How are you feeling?

Ray: "I'm good. No bruises and no scars as well." He smiled showing his physical prowess.

Nympha examined him.

Nympha: (That's odd. Not even a trace,huh.) "Hmm. Good for you."

Ray looked at Nympha. Her arms and head are full with bandage.

Nympha: "I may look like this but I'm tough. We tankers have self-healing ability. These bruises will be gone in no time." She gave her assurance.

Ray: "Okay, sis."

Ray stayed silent for a while.

Nympha: "What's the matter?"

Ray: "Something's bothering me."

Nympha: "What is it?"

Ray: "Do you recall what happened during the incident?"

Nympha: "Wait…" She paused. "Don't tell me you can't also recall what happened that time?"

Ray: "Un. I don't. It's quite strange don't you think?"

Nympha: "It is. And it feels like I'm forgetting something important."

Ray: "I feel the same, sis."

Nympha stood and approached Ray.

Nympha: "Thinking it now will just weary us. Maybe we should set it aside for the mean time."

Ray: "You're right…How about…How about we go for an adventure?"

Nympha: "I would love to. But that can wait. You need to train more. And we still need to get permission from the guild if you want me to accompany you in your adventure, Ray."

Ray: "Yes. Let's do that."

Both of them glanced at the window and looked outside. Despite the fact that the Underground City of Ambeist faced a tragic event, peace and order were restored.

Nympha: (I wonder what really happened that time? The pillar of light…the dark creature…Were all of that just an illusion.)

*Flashback*

The scarlet haired woman stood on the rubbles and debris. The dark creature distanced itself to the woman.

S.H. Woman: "Kukuku...do you fear me now? *sigh* So much for our reunion."

She made a quick survey to the place.

S.H. Woman: (Tch. Tch. Such as messy state.) "PHANTASM!"

An invisible barrier was erected. This casts an illusion to the people making them completely obliviously to what is happening.

S.H. Woman: "Well we don't want anymore casualties, do we?"

The dark creature's aura became fierce. Demonic energy was unleashed in the surrounding. The earth shook tremendously. Massive cracks were formed. A powerful pressure can be felt in the atmosphere.

S.H. Woman: "Oh did I make you angry?"

The creature's crimson eyes glared at her. The woman's blood boils in excitement.

S.H. Woman: "Kukuku…Come!" She gestured her hand.

The dark creature vanished in an instant.

S.H. Woman: "Oh." She looked up.

It attacks with its huge sharp claws.

*BAAM! *BAAM! *BAAM!

The woman swiftly dodged. The attack never reached her.

The dark creature disappears again.

S.H. Woman: "From the left…. right…above…. right…left...right…another right."

The creature continues executing it's attacks. It vanishes and reappears in every blink of ceceli.

S.H.Woman: *sigh* "Why do we need to go over with this again? I can predict your every move." She smiled triumphantly.

The series of attack were endless.

S.H. Woman: "Well, how about this?" She instantly ceased the massive sharp claws of the dark creature with her bare hands. "What? Is that it? Kukuku."

A dark heavy smoke leaked from its mouth. Its wicked aura turned more sinister.

*GRRR!!! *GRRR!!!

The dark creature growled loudly. Giant slashes went directly to the woman.

S.H. Woman: (This is new.) She immediately took a quick stepped back.

The dark creature was about to open it's mouth.

S.H. Woman: "Oh no you won't" She went straight in front of the creature's face, grabbed one of its horn and slammed it on the ground.

*BAAAAAAAAM!!!

The creature's face was buried. A huge crack was created due to the impact.

S.H. Woman: "That silent screech of yours is a bother."

The scarlet haired woman stood on top of the head of the dark creature.

S.H. Woman: "Hey, are you sleeping?"

The ground quaked and massive dark thorns bursts from the ground. She noticed something strange from its attack. She swiftly dodged before it reached her.

S.H. Woman: "Whoa! That was close."

The dark creature stood up and shook its head. Its big sharp teeth were exposed. In a matter of time, its dark claws extended.

S.H. Woman: "Wha---"

A direct attack was thrown. The woman quickly dodged. A series of dark thorns sprouted from the ground.

S.H. Woman: (This attack is not ordinary.)

She kept a distance from the creature.

S.H. Woman: (The thorns are embedded by a spiritual energy. If that hits me, my soul will---)

The creature suddenly appeared behind her.

*BOOM!

A huge explosion happened.

*GRRR--RRR!!

S.H. Woman: "Kukuku…My bad. You missed me." The woman stood on one of the seven horns of the dark creature.

The creature was about to grab her when a swirling energy emerge from her hand and pinned it to the ground.

*BOOOM!!!

A thick dust rose from the ground.

S.H. Woman: "Oh my, you withstood it."

The dark creature clenched it claws and launched an attack.

S.H. Woman: "Hmm…how about this." She strongly kicked the creature on its head.

*BAAM!!

The dark creature ultimately lost its balance and stumbled from the ground.

S.H. Woman: "This is getting annoying. Our battle is taking time."

The creature regained its footing and launched another attack.

S.H. Woman: (I wish I could use just a tiny bit of my power. But I don't want to erase the entire city.) She got no choice but to dodge.

It continues to chase her and follow her movement.

S.H. Woman: (Oh! How come I never thought of that.)

The woman stopped and closed the gaps between her and the creature.

S.H. Woman: "EVOKE!"

*BOOM!

The impact shook the earth creating a thick smoke. Rubbles and debris flew out.

S.H. Woman: "Kukuku. Just in time."

A child figure stood in front of the dark creature. A huge translucent shield was suspended in the air as a protection.

S.H. Woman: "Oh that was fast. Just in time to protect yourself."

"You!!!" She glared at her.

S.H. Woman: "Hey, hey, hey. Did I wake you up, my dear sister?"

A.I.: "You are so dead." She gritted her teeth.

S.H. Woman: "Yeah, I know. I can feel the death aura. But, how about you focus on that creature first?"

The dark creature continues its assaults but all of these were nullified.

A.I.: "Where are we?"

S.H. Woman: "Oh relax. We're still in your city."

A.I.: "Explain to me what's happening?"

S.H. Woman: "A creature is attacking your city right now. I brought you here to assist me."

A.I.: "You disturbed my sleep and brought a heinous creature in my city?!!!"

S.H. Woman: "Of course not. It's not m---"

A.I.: "Vienna!!!" She screamed on top of her lungs.

Vienna: "Yes ma'am!"

A.I.: "I'm starting to lose my patient with you."

Vienna: "You need to believe me. I'm protecting your city."

A.I. calmed down when she heard the last statement. She looked at the dark creature.

A.I.: "This creature is not a vile."

The dark creature continues its rampage. Its angered is now vented to the two persons.

A.I.: "It can use spiritual energy? What is it?"

Vienna: "It's a little bit hard to explain. "

A.I. felt her uneasiness.

A.I.: *sigh* "In your current state, you can easily finish it off."

Vienna: "Yes. But it's…I cannot…"

A.I.: "Fine. I don't need to hear it." She glared at the dark creature. "I don't know what you are. Where you came from. But this is my very own city. I don't tolerate any wrongdoings here." The translucent shield disintegrates.

In a flash, A.I. slashed the body of the dark creature into half. It's head rolled on the ground.

Vienna: "Oh that was feisty."

A.I.: "Your innocent looking face really contradicts your personally."

The body of the creature faded and turned into a dark essence. A more sinister aura was unleashed. The same creature evolved. Its death aura was more menacing.

A.I.: "It's immortal."

Vienna: "Well cutting it into half won't do any good. This is not my first time fighting it."

A.I.: "Why didn't you say so?"

Vienna: "I was trying to say explain but…"

A.I.: "Would you stop with the pausing already and tell me?"

Vienna: "As long as there's darkness that creature will live. When I first encountered it, we fought for an entire six months straight.

A.I. was dumbfounded.

A.I.: "This creature is on par with the gods?"

Vienna: "It's too early to assume. I haven't used my *Authority on it."

*Authority is an invoke spell to release a guardian's god-like power.

A.I: *sigh* "You had me worried there." She sensed something from a far. "How long have you been fighting this creature?"

Vienna: "More like fifteen milent?

A.I.: "Tch! You've been playing all the time?"

Vienna: "I am holding back. I don't want your precious city to crumble."

A.I.: "Right. We only have a milent to spar with this creature."

Vienna: "Yes. Back ups are coming."

A.I.'s child-like figure gradually changed. She transformed into a silver haired brown skin woman. The beautiful goddess Aegis appeared.

Vienna: (Kukuku. She's serious.)

Aegis: "AUTHORITY!"

Three balls of massive energy were formed. The two goddesses along with the dark creature were swallowed. They were brought to a different realm. The place looked like an exact replica of the old world. Different landscapes were endless. Green vegetation is abundant.

Aegis: "Let's do this quick."

Vienna: "Okay. Authority!"

Her scarlet hair turned it's color to a deep blue flame.

Aegis: "I gave you my permission. You can go on a rampage."

Vienna: "Kukuku…That's my intention."

The dark creature felt a much tremendous aura compare to itself. It distanced itself from the two women.

Aegis: "RESTRAIN!" A strong force held the dark creature. "What's your plan?"

Vienna: "I'll subdue the creature and kill it. When it attempts to do another rebirth, use your purification skills."

Aegis: (Why did I even ask?) *sigh* "Okay let's execute your plan."

Vienna: "Cool." She flicked her finger and a thousand of large blue flame swords appeared behind her back.

Aegis: (This woman…)

Vienna directed all her swords to the dark creature.

Vienna: "Kukuku. It's payback time."

The dark creature tried to break free from the invisible strong force but it was too late.

*Whoosh! *BOOOOM!

The thousand swords aimed at the dark creature. A huge explosion was felt all over the realm. The ground quivered. The area where the attack landed turned into a dessert plain.

Aegis: *sigh* "It will die on the first strike. Why do it a thousand times?"

Vienna: "I'm just releasing tension, my dear."

Aegis: "You are more like a monster compare to the dark creature. Now I feel sorry for it."

A dark massive sphere appeared to where the creature lies.

Vienna: "Hurry my dear sister. We don't want to do the same thing all over again, do we?"

Aegis rolled her eyes. She touched the sphere.

Aegis: "PURIFICATION."

The darkness faded.

Aegis: "!!!"

She was utterly shocked.

Aegis: "VIIIIEEEEENNNNAAAA! Explain this!"
