Gu Bei went silent for a moment. Although he was a little skeptical, he still nodded his head and said, "Then come in."

Guided by Gu Bei, he entered an extremely vast courtyard. Gu Bei talked about his and his sister's situation in the Gu Clan as they walked.

Jason listened to him and calculated the benefits of lending him a helping hand. If he helped Gu Bie to take back what rightfully belonged to him and his sister, he would receive a big supporter in the sect.

Jason followed Gu Bei along the small path and reached a smaller courtyard. Inside, there was a girl clothed in white who sat quietly on a chair. With a calm and peaceful expression, she quietly stared at a purple flower on a small artificial mound. Even Jason was mesmerized for a second.

"Elder sister." A gleam of tears flashed through Gu Bei's eyes.

"Gu Bei, you're back?" Gu Lan revealed a faint smile. Her eyes then fell onto Nie Li behind Gu Bei as she asked, "He is…?"

"He is my friend." Gu Bei introduced him as his friend.

"Oh," Gu Lan calmly smiled and nodded her head at Jason.

Jason observed Gu Lan and already found the cause of her condition.

Gu Lan noticed that Jason had been staring at her and she knitted her brows.

"Your sister is not ill. She is poisoned." Jason said lightly.

This one sentence caused Gu Bei's emotions to immediately stir up as he looked at Jason and asked, "Poisoned? You're saying that my sister was poisoned?"

Jason nodded. "That's correct."

Gu Bei was puzzled. "But that's impossible!"

Even Gu Lan was staring at him with a weird expression. After all, she would have found it with her cultivation if someone poisoned her.

"I know what you guys are thinking." Jason smiled and explained to Gu Lan. "You are poisoned by the mixture of the Scarlet Apex Herb and Serpent Fruit. Very few people know about this poison. As for why you and others failed to detect it, it's because the poison is tasteless, colorless, and undetectable. After consuming it, it will gradually clog the veins of the victim, halting the progress of victim cultivation."

At Jason's words, Gu Lan's heart trembled and she exchanged glances with Gu Bei. The symptoms that Jason had just described were exactly as she'd felt them.

Gu Bei instantly grabbed Jason's shoulders and asked, "Then is this kind of poison curable?"

"I can cure it but..." Looking at Gu Bei, he hesitated.

"Nie Li, as long as you can heal my sister, no matter what you ask of me, I'll agree to it all!" Gu Bei promised, very desperate with his heart ignited with hope.

Jason sighed and patted his shoulder. "I just want you both to promise me then whatever happens here will never be known to any third person."

"It's this simple. I promise you." Gu Bei immediately agreed.

"Take this prescription and use it. Once the poison inside her body has been lessened, then we'll conduct the thorough treatment," Jason took out a piece of paper and wrote down a prescription before handing it to Gu Bei.

Gu Bei took one look at the prescription and instantly held it as if it were a priceless treasure. "I'll go get these herbs!"

"Thank you, sir, for saving me." Gu Lan said sincerely, changing her way of addressing him.

"You're being too polite," Jason smiled.

Gu Lan nodded as she sat in a quiet mood.

Gu Lan pondered for a brief moment before she found a topic to talk about. "I wonder where sir came from?"

"The Tiny World," Jason replied.

"Oh? So you're from the Tiny World." Gu Lan's voice paused as she continued on, "When I was young, I had a teacher who was also from the Tiny World."

Jason's heart slightly trembled as he asked, "I wonder, what's the name of that teacher of yours?"

"My teacher never revealed his real name and appeared and disappeared as he wished. I also have no idea where he is now. He could reappear anytime." Gu Lan bitterly smiled as she shook her head, "That teacher of mine hasn't shown himself for five years now. Otherwise, I wouldn't have landed myself in this situation. I only know that my teacher had a very high cultivation, such that even a 5-stage Martial Ancestor Realm expert couldn't match him as an opponent."

Jason pondered for a moment before asking. "Is your master an old man who likes to draped in tattered clothes? His appearance looked extremely frail with empty eyes. And he liked to talk some rubbish from time to time."

"I have not spent that much time with my Master so forgive me. But the appearance seems quite similar when you describe it. Have you met my master?" Gu Lan asked, with her eyes expectant.

Before Jason could reply, Gu Bei quickly ran over with a bowl of brewed herbs, cutting them.

"This is the medicine that I boiled. Sister, give it a try." Gu Bei passed the bowl of brew to Gu Lan.

After consuming the medicine, Gu Lan frowned her brows for a brief moment and shut her eyes.

Gu Bei looked at Gu Lan anxiously.

After a brief moment, Gu Lan opened her eyes, looked at Jason, and spoke a little excitedly, "This medicine can indeed relieve the poison in my body. I can already sense traces of changes in my veins! Thank you so much for helping!"

She couldn't help the emotionally moved expression on her face. She never imagined that this medicine would take effect so quickly.

"Consume this prescription for a week then I'll fully detoxify your poison," Jason said.

Gu Bei was extremely excited. He never imagined that Jason's medicine would actually work.

"Nie Li, this is the reward for curing my sister. If you need any help in the future, don't hesitate to say the word. As long as I'm capable of accomplishing it, I will!" Gu Bei patted himself on the chest as he spoke and passed an interspatial ring filled with spiritual stones over to Nie Li.

Jason checked the ring and smiled lightly. He returned the ring to him.

"I don't need the spiritual stones. If possible can you send some people to gather the Dragon bloodline demon spirit of Poor, Ordinary, and Good growth rate."

"Why do you need that? I can help you look for a Dragon bloodline demon spirit of Excellent and Extraordinary growth." Gu Bei spoke quickly, feeling puzzled.

Jason patted his shoulder. "I know. But please only look for Poor, Ordinary, and Good ones as many as possible, okay?"

"Alright." Gu Bei nodded his head.

"Gu Bei, take care of your sister. I'll go ahead and take my leave... And in the future, be aware of your meals." Jason said with an undertone to his words.

A chill suddenly ran through Gu Bei's heart as he nodded, "I understand!"

Jason bid his farewells to Gu Bei and Gu Lan before walking out.

Gu Lan watched Nie Li back, then looked at Gu Bei and asked, "Little brother, how did you meet him?"

"He is my classmate, a genius with 9-grade Heavenly Spiritual Root. I just met him today. Big Sis, you don't know but today this guy had even tamed that wild tigress Long Yuyin, putting a leash on her. You can't imagine but she was actually blushing like a girl for once... But I never imagined that he would also be so capable and accomplished in medicine. Those physicians couldn't even diagnose Sis's illness, but he only took a look and knew the cause. He's indeed formidable."

"A 9-grade Heaven Spiritual Root?" Gu Lan's eyes flashed with a peculiar light. She never thought that Jason's talent would be at such a frightening height.
