Jason studied her for what felt like an eternity.
The room seemed to hold its breath as he weighed her sincerity against the sacrifice she claimed she was willing to make. He knew the path she wanted to take was one lined with challenges that could either break her or refine her into an unyielding force.

He approached the entrance to the Emperor's Hall, an imposing structure that commanded respect with its towering crimson doors flanked by intricate carvings of mythical beasts. As he pushed them open, a rush of warm, scented air enveloped him.
The space within radiated luxury and authority, furnished with rare silks, polished mahogany, and treasures from across the land.
A chorus of soft voices greeted him as a dozen maids dressed in light and revealing outfits stepped forward, their eyes lowered in reverence. Their presence was a delicate dance of grace and attentiveness, each one trained not just in serving but in understanding the unspoken wishes of their master.
The air hummed with an air of devotion, a quiet symphony of service reserved only for him.
"Welcome back, Master," One of the senior maids said, her voice as soothing as a gentle breeze. She held a silver tray with a goblet of fine wine, her gaze flickering briefly to his eyes before dropping respectfully.
Jason nodded, the faintest hint of a smile brushing his lips as he accepted the drink. He took a sip, the rich, spiced flavor spreading warmth through his chest.
The tension of the day began to unravel, the taste of a fleeting comfort in the storm of responsibility that always loomed over him.
"Prepare a message for the Heavenly Note Sect," Jason said to another maid who stood by, her expression attentive. "Ensure Difuya is treated a little more gently."
"Yes, Master," She replied, bowing deeply before slipping out of the hall with silent efficiency.
As Jason settled into his seat, the reality of the day's events settled deeper into his mind.
Difuya's determination had been fierce, and unyielding, and he could only hope that the path she had chosen would strengthen her spirit rather than break it.
The room buzzed with quiet activity, maids attending to their tasks...
The gentle rustle of silk announced Xiao Ruse's arrival before she stepped into the room.
Jason's gaze shifted, narrowing slightly as he took in Xiao Ruse's composed demeanor. She bowed deeply, but there was a flicker of unease in her usually serene eyes.
"Xiao Ruse," Jason's voice was calm but edged with a question. "How did Difuya learn about the existence of the Heavenly Note Sect? That information is not shared lightly."
Xiao Ruse straightened, meeting his gaze without wavering. "Master, it was I who told her. I saw the fire in her spirit, the change in her heart, and believed she deserved to know that a different path existed. For that, I take full responsibility and ask for your forgiveness."
Jason's eyes darkened as he measured her words. "This is not just a simple mistake. You will get proper punishment!"
"Yes, Master!" Xiao Ruse bowed and walked over. She opened the belt around her waist and let the silky dress slip off, revealing her sexy and curvaceous figure to her master.
